Bingo wings - exercises to tone using weights or resistance bands?

Any ideas? Looking to tone both top and bottom muscles of my arms (sorry, unsure of the technical terms - biceps and triceps?).
What sort of exercises should I do, how many reps, how frequently, to see results? Ta!

I find that press ups and tricep dips work quite effectively at toning arms. If there is a lot of loose flesh you may need to address your diet as well. Good luck!

Thanks Moshi. Press ups - tick. What are tricep dips? How many/frequently to see results? Should I keep going till it burns?
Not too much loose flesh btw, it just needs firming up {smile}

Tricep dips (using a chair or stairs) and tricep kick backs using weights. Try putting them into youtube for demo videos. And they should be tough!

Pilates.

Some yoga transistions are fab for these - the downward facing dog, plank, stick, upward dog sequence from the sun sutations really gives the arms a workout when done properly (keeping the elbows well tucked in to the sides and only letting the hands and feet touch the floor.

Tricep dips again make sure you keep the elbows tight. I use the edge of the bath and do 3 x 12.

They say 10 reps is beginner level, 12 intermediate and 15 advanced (give or take a few but you get the idea). I aim for 3x20 which gives me sufficient burn.

Tracy Anderson Mat Method - completely bonkers, but some of my dresses that have been quite tight at the arms are now fitting more than comfortably.
I swear it works. Just stick with it.
