I'm not promising to be the resident landlady, and I can't even hope to moderate the discussion or offer up great memes etc because I don't know how, but here's opening the next iteration....

First drink is on the house.

He's still getting the key messages through, despite heavy fire. He has one eye on the news bursts later.

DustyDiamond · 22/11/2019 20:43

BJ should rugby tackle & take out the RUSSIAN REPORT heckler

BelleHathor · 22/11/2019 20:45

Russia, Russia, Russia have the moaners learned nothing from the Democrats. Lots of questions that they think are "gotchas". The moaning audience think it will win people watching over. It won't

SingingLily · 22/11/2019 20:45

Gordon Bennett Confused

Did she actually read the article re burkas? I did, at the time. He was defending the right of women to wear them at a time when France and Belgium had banned them.

DustyDiamond · 22/11/2019 20:46

The audience are very brutal

Much, much better than the ITV clusterfuck

DustyDiamond · 22/11/2019 20:47

I thought that woman was about to burst into tears then - Lily Allen style 😭😭😭

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 22/11/2019 20:49

I thought she was going to cry too.

sunglasses123 · 22/11/2019 20:49

I am listening although a few mins behind. Boris is doing OK. Corbyn wasnt great but I find him virtue signalling for the whole world. He wants to help ‘the poor of the world’ and honestly looking at his manifesto - it’s complete rubbish!!!

BelleHathor · 22/11/2019 20:49

I always think of this video Dusty 😅😅😂m.youtube.com/watch?v=wDYNVH0U3cs

Hollycatberry · 22/11/2019 20:50

@DustyDiamond haha exactly. She said nothing of substance either. Just some woolly shit about austerity, people in NHS not welcoming bojo and that he must hate women. Waste of an opportunity to make a point or raise a question.

sunglasses123 · 22/11/2019 20:51

Lily Allen is a waste of space. If she really wants to help people why doesn’t she donate her wealth?

DustyDiamond · 22/11/2019 20:52

Hahaha!!

Lol Belle 😂😂😂

SingingLily · 22/11/2019 20:57

Finally, finally, he's in his stride. Get Brexit Done!

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 22/11/2019 21:04

We almost got to the end with no soundbites! 😂

DustyDiamond · 22/11/2019 21:08

He was ok actually - looking forward to the Andrew Neil grillings next week 🙌🙌

notangelinajolie · 22/11/2019 21:12

@SingingLily

Bearded chap is the one who leaned forward to shake Jezbollah's hand on the way out and I'm fairly sure I've seen the woman with red jacket (first question in this segment) before, defending Labour. Guido will pick this up, I'm sure.

Kate Rutter.

EpicShitDippedBatBiscuit · 22/11/2019 21:15

Yeah, it’s a shame he didn’t get to make his points clearly due to audience interruption and Fiona on occasion, but overall he faired ok. Not amazing, but ok, certainly better than the debate.

He really did look ill though! 😬

I see Corbyn’s bearded stooge bezzie, muttered something to him as he walked off set, I wonder what he said? Hmm

yolofish · 22/11/2019 21:23

I'm not sure how anyone can think that was a good night for Boris? didnt see Jezza but saw the rest, they all got cheers for various responses, but Boris got none til the end - maybe they were glad to see the back of him?! Honestly, he looked shit. Eyes weird, suit a mess, posture dreadful - I'd be asking for my Eton fees back if I were his mum and dad.

DustyDiamond · 22/11/2019 21:26

DustyDiamond · 22/11/2019 21:28

Jezza got a grilling as well Yolo - was good to see them both getting put through their paces

dirtyrottenscoundrel · 22/11/2019 21:31

Your son is PM of the UK & you want your uni fees back? 🤣

yolofish · 22/11/2019 21:34

cheers Dusty I'll have a large glass of red and one for you and landlady!

They should ALL be grilled - and given the opportunity to answer - so that we can make our own decisions.

I'm a remainer, I am very worried about the Russian dossier and decision not to publish... but I will be keeping my mind open and a keen eye on the tactical voting sites right up until Dec 12.

I do not understand how anyone can trust Boris? He's a proven liar, and if I hear 'when I was Mayor of London' once more I will probably kick something.

Bearbehind · 22/11/2019 21:37

OK, decision made.

I’m voting Tory.

I don’t entirely agree with their policies but I don’t agree with any others either and at least this way I’m endorsing the fact the Tories have to put their money where their mouth is.

Labours fucking ridiculous manifesto has pushed me here - JC’s Commie ideas can’t be allowed to manifest.

Walkingdeadfangirl · 22/11/2019 21:37

Much better format than ITVs

notangelinajolie · 22/11/2019 21:39

Boris looked exhausted. However, I think the hostile audience and Fiona's constant interruptions helped him look like the good guy and I think he did well.

Jeremy. He looked old. And ugh - all that whooping in the audience was not good. The BBC should really stop that.

Swinson - Bad night for her. She was called out on her voting history and undemocratic stop Brexit policy. It makes sense that the lefties in the audience would be wanting to make her look bad.

Nicola . Same old and solid as usual. She did well but the audience didn't challenge her at all.

Half a larger please bartender.
