The Brexit Party are doing really well in the polls. I just hope they do as well in the election.
I think their slogan should be "Tell them again".
I would like to see a clean sweep of Brexiteers but I know that is not going to happen.
I have sent off my postal vote.

I’m just very, very pissed off that 100,000 ish or so people get to decide who the next PM is so de facto the future of my children and that of all of our citizens for years to come.

I would normally expect a GE in these circumstances but I can’t, ever, vote for that embittered twat Corbyn even if we get one.

Just how the hell did we get to this state? What on earth are moderate, pragmatic people on either side supposed to do? Just accept the shit that’s being sprayed at us and our futures?

Poor, tearful Mrs. May? F**k her, we should all be weeping and wailing in the streets. It’s desolate.

NoWordForFluffy · 24/05/2019 20:39

Neither Boris nor NF are Prime Minister, so why would they be stomping anywhere demanding anything?

Walkingdeadfangirl · 24/05/2019 20:43

Boris/Nige/whoever will just find the WA on the desk waiting for the signature when the UK decides it needs food
Yes finally exposing the EU for the blackmailing dictatorship it is. Cant for the life of me think why anyone would want to be in that club.

I shopped in the co-op today. I couldn't find any fresh food from the EU on its shelves. Seems there are plenty of countries around the world, not in the EU, that are happy to sell us food.

It is emphatically NOT that! You might not like it but that is exactly what it was. Everyone voted on one issue and one issue only. Leave or remain. I think remainers are quaking in their boots with whats about to happen.

PortiaCastis · 24/05/2019 20:45

Please tell me why I should be quaking in my boots Grin?

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 24/05/2019 20:47

Grin seriously how old are you?

bellinisurge · 24/05/2019 20:49

"I think remainers are quaking in their boots with whats about to happen."

Am I supposed to say "and you smell". You are childish and ridiculous. I would be ashamed of my 12 year old saying stupid shit like that.

You clearly didn’t watch Brexit: Behind Closed Doors. What it very clearly and candidly illustrated was an European Parliament full of intelligent, well educated, well briefed, pragmatic, rational, consensual politicians with a strong sense of unity, social conscience and an overwhelming desire for maintaining the precious peace in Europe, even if it meant massive compromise on their own personal preferences.

Every British negotiator and politician filmed came across as a fucking idiot.

But of course, you won’t see it that way.

TheZebraCrosser · 24/05/2019 21:04

Why not? He's the best solution.

And he's not an embittered twat either.

bellinisurge · 24/05/2019 21:15

My cat would be better than Corbyn. I'm old. I've seen his type before. Useless

1tisILeClerc · 24/05/2019 21:17

In 2016 'Nige' said a referendum result that close should be rerun.
The vote yesterday was to select MEPs to represent the UK IF the UK remains, otherwise they will be redundant.
You COULD spin it that as we will have MEPs eagerly waiting to start work in Brussels later in the year so that it is a confirmation of REMAINING as we could have saved the expense by actually leaving now.

1tisILeClerc · 24/05/2019 21:24

{Yes finally exposing the EU for the blackmailing dictatorship it is. Cant for the life of me think why anyone would want to be in that club.}

Shame it was a Brit that drafted the A50 rules.
The 2 year 'departure date' was written in to make countries think hard about leaving and to not 'bugger about'. So, two and a half years later the UK is on its second 'extension' because it can't find it's way out of a paper bag and has no clue about what it wants.

borntobequiet · 24/05/2019 21:25

What’s about to happen that we should be so scared of? Apart from no deal shortages, which we know about and can to a certain extent prepare for?

lonelyplanetmum · 24/05/2019 22:00

What is about to happen then.

everythingisginandroses · 24/05/2019 22:04

I am quaking in my boots at the prospect of WalkingDeadBrexshitZombies looking for someone else to blame when their free-trade fantasy generates nothing but hardship, ill-feeling and division. Or maybe just when they realise that goods from non-EU countries arrive in their local Coop under EU trade agreements.

What a load of absolute arse.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 24/05/2019 22:06

What is about to happen then

Dunno

Bu5 the words quaking and boots was mentioned soooooo.....

Nope i got nothing

PortiaCastis · 24/05/2019 22:13

What is about to happen then
Well hopefully someone will do some research and stop posting absolute shite

1tisILeClerc · 24/05/2019 22:15

I was so enjoying the 'we won get over it' shouts from the leavers not that many months ago. It's almost like they are not sure they want what they won.

1tisILeClerc · 24/05/2019 22:19

Well I reckon that a 'Brexit' is actually a small paper bag with 'Brexit' written in sparkly letters and inside is a turd.
Maybe a leaver would like to say what they think might be inside as an alternative, because the manifestos so far haven't explained much.

Littlespaces · 24/05/2019 22:29

Quaking - why?

In my family it is Leave voters who would be hit by any economic downturn.

Littlespaces · 24/05/2019 22:35

Apart from the young people and children of course who would also be badly affected.

I am worried about them which is why I'm opposing Brexit.

noodlenosefraggle · 24/05/2019 22:37

I shopped in the co-op today. I couldn't find any fresh food from the EU on its shelves. Seems there are plenty of countries around the world, not in the EU, that are happy to sell us food.
They're not in the EU but they have trade deals with the EU that allow them to sell into the EU. Trade deals we wont have when we leave.

AuldAlliance · 24/05/2019 22:46

I shopped in the co-op today. I couldn't find any fresh food from the EU on its shelves. Seems there are plenty of countries around the world, not in the EU, that are happy to sell us food.

It might be worthwhile tracking the route that food followed to get to your co-op, and what trade agreements made the process possible, before concluding that plenty of countries are happy to sell the UK food.

The US is admittedly quite keen to sell the UK something it calls "food". Whether you'd want to eat it or feed it to your children/grandchildren is another matter entirely.

Coppersulphate · 24/05/2019 23:49

It I'd definitely an election about Brexit.
I bet if the remain parties won you would all suddenly decide it was a rerun of the referendum.

I agree with you Walkingdead.....they are bullying dictators in Brussels. The remainers have no confidence in our ability to run our own affairs.

Boris will sort them out. If he is PM we will be leaving very soon.
