I would like to know, whether you were a remain or leave voter how you would like to see the UK government proceed now we have declared Brexit. I am not really interested in whether you wanted to leave or not. What foreign and domestic policies do you think might help the UK now we are leaving that perhaps we couldn't do before?

I am not wanting to hear - rejoin the EU. Simply because I don't think we'd ever be invited back again. Also I think it's time to look forward, dust ourselves down, take stock of this new situation and try to make the best of it.

I am beyond furious that my EU membership will be taken from me

Me too, and I don't even have the additional worries about family that you do, Fanny. It must be so stressful.

Thanks Figment, that's very reassuring!

My general worry was that in the rush to follow everything American, we would adopt their non-existent data protection laws. It would seem very silly to me to move backwards on data protection, but I just do not trust the current government to do the logical, sensible thing Grin
