If you follow the link above then scroll down to the bottom of the page you can put your postcode in and find out how the voting went in your area. I'm in west Kent and I'm rather heartened to see my town was 45% leave to 55% remain.

Remain by 50.5% so only just. My family all voted remain - GC are teens and persuaded GD to change from leave. They live across England - rural and city. Apart fro our area theirs were all leave majorities.

Trying to adopt a positive approach, especially for our DC who are very unhappy with the outcome, but have an underlying sense of unease that seems to be widely felt.

minsmum · 25/06/2016 13:22

Remain 55%

Mirandawest · 25/06/2016 13:26

I'm in York. 58% remain. Suspect my village was probably leave though.

n0ne · 25/06/2016 14:34

Brent, 59.7% remain

I don't even have the energy anymore to say how upset I am at the result Sad

pandaskitchen · 25/06/2016 14:46

I am one of 37% Remain in my area.

Poor area, high immigration of low skilled economic migrants, traditional labour stronghold but with UKIP councillers, aging demographic- I can understand the outcome as difficult as it is to accept.

In my parents area a large national employer sent a letter out to all his employers saying how Brexit would not make any difference to them and he would be voting out....the remain was even lower.

Valentine2 · 25/06/2016 14:49

Remain of course! Proud of it !!

stillenacht1 · 25/06/2016 14:54

DurhamDurham · 26/06/2016 12:53

Durham voted leave, both the poster and the place Smile

smugmumofboys · 26/06/2016 12:55

NW. 50.3% leave so very narrow.

NeedACleverNN · 26/06/2016 12:55

South Holland

73.6% leave
26.4% stay

I kinda expected that tbh.

Tanaqui · 26/06/2016 12:59

Across my county there is an incredibly clear correlation between average house price and votes - the higher the average house price, the bigger % of remain votes, and vice versa.

Orwellschild · 26/06/2016 13:08

Lambeth. 80 % remain.

Absolutely gutted.

justbogoff · 26/06/2016 13:14

Barnsley, 19th out of 399 leave.
Ashamed, but not surprised, Barnsley town centre on a Monday lunchtime is like the village of the damned.
The guy who voted leave because he wanted to Muslims out was from Barnsley, it says it all really.

farageisacunt · 26/06/2016 13:14

54.7% leave

And in Jo Cox's constituency too.

Shameful Sad

justbogoff · 26/06/2016 13:14

Jo Cox constituency voted leave?

I'm shocked! Shock

Birdsgottafly · 26/06/2016 13:19

Remain 58%, we had a kite of non voters.

It makes sencevthat the JC constituency voted to Leave, they'd had strong campaigning from all of the far right groups.

It's like every anti-hatred group says, it's the Silence that is most damaging.

There was and has been a lot of silence, on many issues.

Littlemisslovesspiders · 26/06/2016 13:19

Leave

East Midlands

notamummy10 · 26/06/2016 13:20

Derby - 51% majority leave!

AcornToOak · 26/06/2016 13:29

My area is in the top 5 areas with the highest percentage of leave, it doesn't surprise me

adriennemole · 26/06/2016 13:35
