Put them in the garage to use for painting, craft projects, washing pets, washing the car, etc.

Madlentileater · 12/04/2008 18:54

homeless shelter?

FrannyandZooey · 12/04/2008 18:56

if nothing else just recycle them as textiles so the fibres can be made into something else

flubdub · 12/04/2008 18:57

Theres a sign in our local vets asking for peoples old blankets and towels - they always end up going home with animals in their cages, so you could try your local vets?

WallOfSilence · 12/04/2008 18:58

I give old blankets to my local branch of dogs trust

CountessDracula · 12/04/2008 18:59

I'll have a few for me the dog

Give to charity shop - some poor dude will be able to buy cheap towels and a charity will get money....

why not split since you have so many:
some to animal shelter, some to local vet, some for cleaning/lining boot etc, some for local charuty shop/homeless shelter etc etc.
