Ecover products

at the moment i only use their washing up liquid, but would like to try more. does anyone use Ecover products in their home? are they as good as the conventional cleaning products?

I love Jason stuff, we use body wash, shampoo, squirty hand/face soap and their body moisturiser they're all really fab. I too will now be on the hunt for their household stuff.

Just read this thread - very interested in the thing about Ecover and animal testing... just had a read of the material and I think this is the situation, to clear up any confusion:

Ecover do not test their products on animals. However, new Ecover products that they are developing may include new ingredients that have previously been tested on animals, but only if this testing occurred more than five years ago (eg the bio-surfactants in SquirtEco).

Animal welfare organisations would like all companies who produce cleaning products to introduce a fixed cut-off point for ingredients tested on animals - e.g. they won't use anything that has been tested on animals since 1990. Ecover prefer to use their rolling five-year rule, because otherwise it might prevent further advancements in creating more effective environmentally-friendly products (i.e. certain ingredients are required to be tested on animals before they can be approved for inclusion in household products).

Having said this, many of their products are approved by the Vegan Society, which must be a good thing, eh?

Anyway I'll definitely be looking into the Jasons stuff, and stocking up on Soda Crystals!!
