Awaiting Brit School Response

I can see there are old threads but thought I'd start a new one for current applications - can't believe we haven't heard at all from Brit School in response to application, do they really leave the kids wondering all over Christmas.
Anyone else been given an audition date yet please? Or been declined going through to the audition stage?

No nothing...never checked my junk mail folder as often as this last month 😂

the emails went out yesterday for MT & Music

was that for last year? or did they go out yesterday?

We didn't receive anything, were all emails sent out yesterday?

@Clairewal Some received emails last Friday and Yesterday but it could be the internal kids first and external kids sometimes this week 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi, no still nothing. Little confusing when some emails have apparently gone out. But as you say, perhaps 'out of catchment' are the last to be informed.

Has anyone called? I wonder if they could tell us when they’re sending ‘out of catchment’ offers

We still haven't heard, so not sure if that is good news or bad news. Do you know if the emails that have gone out are offers or rejections?

We just got the email and didn't get in. Disappointing but obviously not meant to be and with only 5-7 places outside of the catchment, a small chance of getting in. Good luck to anyone still waiting to hear.

Music strand from outside the catchment area, so not a surprise. She has a place at another college that's she's happy with, so all good.

We are waiting to hear also and expecting it will be today based on previous posts. Applied for Yr 12 Music Technology; we are not currently at the school but in the catchment area. It has been 5 weeks since the audition, only recent communication received was confirmation that the school teacher reference was requested and obtained; we got that last week, so hoping this is an indication that the application is progressing positively. We got an acceptance email this morning for Music performance. We are outside of catchment so can't quite believe it.
