@Moglet4 I love how you began by writing, 'I'm not attacking you, that's not my intention', but then have proceeded to call me homophobic and bigoted throughout the thread. Are you OK? Do you need someone to talk to about your prejudices towards those of us who do not believe in gendered souls?
I am inclusive to ALL children, but I understand how vulnerable and trusting they are. Whatever they are taught by their teacher, they WILL believe. Teaching is an immense privilege and a huge responsibility for that very reason. There is no place for political activism in schools. People like yourself, who are extremely intolerant of those of us who do not believe children should be taught it is possible to born in the wrong body, do not belong in schools.
For the record, I have no issue with homosexuality and to suggest I do, for simply asking a question about the curriculum in UK primary schools, suggests to me that you are most likely some sort of activist. This has NOTHING to do with homosexuality. Lumping together gay people with 'trans' people, is nothing more than a marketing strategy, designed to close down debate on the trans subject by simply labelling people 'homophobic', as opposed to addressing their logical concerns. I imagine you would suggest that Muslims shouldn't be able to teach, owing to what their faith teaches them about LBGT issues. Not very inclusive!
By labelling me bigoted, you have simply prejected your own deficiency onto me. I think you should reflect on why you have such an insane response to someone asking a question about what very young children are taught in our schools. My question was not unreasonable, your response however, very much was.
