No. I think he wears jeans and a t-shirt. I'm sure of it, I saw him once. You can quote me.

Nothing. At. All.

lemonaid · 04/10/2007 23:34

I feel Rosa has perhaps given this Too Much Thought...

RosaTransylvania · 04/10/2007 23:57

My husband might well agree, Lemonaid. If he only knew.

Slowreader this may help

Fennel · 05/10/2007 09:33

Just a little loincloth, artfully draped?

stealthsquiggle · 05/10/2007 09:35

OMG is it Book Day time again already?

I wasn't working last year and may have accidentally set a standard which there is no way I have time to live up to this year>>

Fennel · 05/10/2007 09:37

It's book day now at our school. Though our school seems to work on a different timetable, aren't most book days in March?

stealthsquiggle · 05/10/2007 10:13

It's officially March 6th 2008 according to www.worldbookday.com/

Phew!

slowreader · 05/10/2007 10:29

Thanks, it was yesterday here.
*So now I know.
He looked superb thanks to genuine elven cloak actually woven in Lothlorien sold to me by very kind market stall holder for £1.90.
Hair was a bit orcish though by the end of the day.

*Pretty Kitty knickers

dd2 has insisted on going to school with hair unbrushed today because "wizards' hair is tangly".

saltire · 05/10/2007 12:12

What I think Legolas wears under hsi cloak and what he really wear under it are problably completely different

ThreadyKrueger · 05/10/2007 14:08

Ask a hobbit. Good view from down there.

Blandmum · 05/10/2007 14:10

I'm with Rosa.

And he is mine. But that isn't satisfactory for a child!

Stuff in greens and browns? Think Robin Hood type stuff.

DarrellRivers · 05/10/2007 14:13

You lot scared me this week
I had to phone DD's school to check it wasn't World Book Day this week.
School admin lady sounded amused

Lovely question, though to the Op, I love thinking about what legolas might have under his cloak

slowreader · 05/10/2007 14:23

Too late, too late, we've done it.
You can have him and welcome MB. I was very disillusioned yesterday. Putting in those braids is awful and did you know that lembas bread is nothing more than digestives wrapped in cabbage leaves?

OP posts:
saltire · 05/10/2007 14:33

Well I'm still thinking about what Legolas wears - or doesn't wear - under his cloak.

Blandmum · 05/10/2007 14:36

somebody slap saltire, she's started drooling again.........

saltire · 05/10/2007 14:38

MB here's something to make you drool

DarrellRivers · 05/10/2007 14:38

Aragon is however my favourite.

Right back to work now

slowreader · 05/10/2007 14:43

What was the name of the vikingish one whose sister fancied Aragorn?

OP posts:
saltire · 05/10/2007 14:46

Was it Eomer?

DarrellRivers · 05/10/2007 14:47

Horse people prince?

ThreadyKrueger · 05/10/2007 14:48

Eodred? Or something like that. His sister was Eowyn, so I always think of her as Earwig. Notable as being more or less the only female (apart from the untouchably divine elf ladies) in the whole Tolkein opus. He wasn't too good with women was he?
