I can't believe that the school gates is a bloody fashion parade!

Here was I looking forward to a SAHM lifestyle which involved baggy linen pants, jam encrusted T-shirts and matted hair ... I turn up and everyone seems to have carefully planned their outfits.

PS I am sticking with the pants and jam, though

im surprised at how many of you think dressing to impress almost everyday is normal? (although do understand it is for some people)

being the mum of active 20 month old and having #2 due in Nov i barely manage clean clothes everyday (skirt generally remains put for 3 days due to v. small maternity wardrobe) if i go out i try and have clean clothes but def. dotn manage make up everyday or to have a shower every day, i just dont have the time! please tell me a lot of you have older ones and im not just a slob and itl get a bit better as they get bigger!!!!

staceymm - as they get older it gets - different - not really easier, but definitely easier to get dressed in the morning!!
