DD is 3y6m.
She can count for ages, although still always misses out 15. She can recognises numbers written down to 10. She can do simple pre-school adding and take away, but with help. But she isn't that into numbers I have to say. She gets fed up with it easily.
She knows all her letter sounds and recognises them on paper, but still mixes up p and q and b and d. She will tell you constantly what letter sound a word begins with - her fave game in the car at moment, along with I spy.
She has been writing her name on her own (no dots) since turning 3 but it is getting neater and she will attempt other letters/numbers too.
She has started to draw more recognisable pictures now too - mainly pictures of people, or flowers/trees, etc.
She knows colours and shapes.
She can't read anything other than recognising her name, nut likes to try and sound out simple words now such as cat, dog, mum, etc. She does adore her books though and will spend ages "reading" to her dolls, or asking one of us to read to her.
I love this age. They seem to learn so much all the time and absorb everything.
