I just saw this thread, albeit late and live across the pond from most of you. My friends and I have been selling our very well worn shoes for about 8 years on Ebay. We work part time at the local Junior League thrift store which requires we donate our used clothing and household goods AND solicit more. I happened upon some worn shoes while shopping on Ebay and checked the completed listings. Sure enough some brought good money. I experimented with some of mine, did super detailed write ups (marketing), took high resolution pictures both on and off and gave it a go. Every pair sold. It is kind of a turn on to know my old shoes are exciting someone else. I next told my four friends and they did the same off my account, which is separate from my main account. Well worn soles, stained insoles with very visible toe prints, darkened heel cups along sexy shoes sell best. Aromatic slippers do well also but the wording has to be tame or your auction gets pulled. Full figure shots are getting moved to the adult section so just the feet and shoes AND the pictures should have something to the selling of the item. Also proves you are female. Lots of guys are buying shoes from the thrift shops and listing them. I will entertain all polite questions but probably once a week at best. Cheers.

I've only just come across this thread, and this 'strange-smelly-old-shoe-selling-craze' and I think it's great!I never even knew about this whole underground shoe fetish! It doesn't do anything for me personally but each to their own I guess and if you can make a few pennies here and there, why not! Would love to know if anyone has had any sucess selling their old shoes though! xx

Well, I'm mightily fed up that I've managed to sell a good quantity of my clothes (no longer fit de to successful dieting, Yay !) and outgrown kids stuff but can I shift lightly used men's clothes "outgrown" by dh, can I feck !

If men (some, obviously, not all) will pay for my old shoes I'll take their money any day of the week. to compensate for the mountain of DH's stuff that I can't shift via ebay.

Why are men so disinclined to buy and wear second hand clothes ?

Speaking from a guy who quiet regularly purchases these items, there are a few main things you can do to make your post more attractive. Flat ballet style shoes seem to be the favourite, the dirtier the inner soles the better, also prints where the toes have been. List them as work shoes, or partying shoes. Nurses, air hostesses and office workers seem to be the favourites! When it comes to the pictures, more the better! Model your feet next to the shoe, painted toe nails of course. Model the shoes barefoot and in tights, stockings. Also try and dangle the shoe and get a picture of your sole, heel. Also full body shots wereing the shoes are good!

Socks and tights also sell well, advertise them as work, gym, once again dirtier the better, and more pictures the better. Ankle socks, especially frilly ones seem to be popular. Also pop socks, the tights material socks that only covers the bottom of your foot. They are in high demand ;)

I wear a size 8 and found that a lot of men were interested in my old shoes and particularly boots when I sold them on Ebay. A lot of cross dressers find their items this way and have them delivered to their work address so their partners' don't find out.

Gosh what a surprise to me about well worn shoes !! I work as a Manager for a Charity and over the years I must have thrown out an absolute fortune in "smellie shoes" all to be sent to the rag man every Thursday.

I just joined this site to comment on this... I'm a 44yr old male with a foot fetish, and I regularly buy used shoes off eBay. Before I go into why I buy them, its worth knowing that feet are the most common "fetish" in the world, and that a lot Men AND women are quite fascinated by (mainly)women's feet. Some like long toes, some like chubby feet...etc... eBay does have a rule about sending he footwear laundered, but most sellers realise that the buyer wants them in a used condition. Also... eBay often remove the listing if they feel it contains "adult content". So there it is... anything you want to know, just ask... I'm not embarrassed about it at all. Like I say... rather be into feet than some of the awful things some people are into.

having read the comments on this thread i must say none of you seem to really understand it. i will make it clearer for you i hope then feel free to snicker away but at least be properly informed before snickering. many men love well worn ladies shoes and boots personally i only purchase boots. the more worn the better though. i pay very well for boots that i really want and only purchase if i can also buy a video of the woman wearing the boots i buy she has to put them on take them off in the video and if she is willing to show her face she gats considerably more money it is important to me to see the woman who actually owned the boots. size is unimportant because i like most boot and shoe collectores dont actually wear the purchases otherwise we would buy new like transvestites. its all about the woman having worn them which is why we go for well worn that her feet and legs have been inside the boot and if there is the smell of her still on them all the better once again why we go for well worn. anyone wanting more in depth information about what happens with them once owned by me contact my email and i will be more than happy to tell you. also anyone who fancies making some money by selling me there old well worn boots rather than just throwing them away also contact me on my email and we can discuss a price but i only buy boots that actually interest me so must be knee high or overknee and not suede i cant abide suede leather of faux leather is what i want . hope this clears up some of the confusion, those that now feel the need to snicker away do so i really dont care those that want to make some money or understand all different things make different people tick then contact me if you so wish thankyou for your time
