I reported a buyer for feedback extortion.

I've received this back from ebay CS

"I gathered from your email that the buyer has threatened to leave negative feedback on your account if you will not send them money.

We've looked into the situation again and can see that this isn't a case of feedback extortion"

The 'unwell and dangerous' thing - I imagine court cases involve a lot of stuff being alleged that is clearly nonsense and has no evidence to accompany it, so I'd expect the court officials to treat that with the derision it deserves.

I really don't understand how they're claiming you're unstable.

Does she have a history of doing this kind of thing?

I think the question is, do you really want to go into court against these irrational people without us there to support you?

If the case is near me I'd be happy to come along for moral support.

The judges we had were very good at seeing through the other sides bullshit. Also if he starts to talk down to the judge that won't go down well.

I'm sure any of us would be happy to be there to support you and not leave you to face them alone.

Yes OP, try to keep schtum (I too am prone to sarcasm and had to refrain, deffo worth it to hear how crazy they can be - let them dig themselves more of a pit!).
On a more personal note; please don't focus on them calling you dangerous etc. It is meant to wind you up and get you upset and wanting to bit back. Ex's dad wrote a very horrible letter to the Court stating I had mental issues (he has never even met me!). The whole idea was to get me angry in some way and retaliate. They are clutching at straws. I think you sound like it is all fine, but I know first hand how the those little words can keep you up at night. I felt I may have to defend myself all through the case but the Judge could clearly see what he was about. They must have people like this use the system all of the time. Try to put it all to one side once all of the paper work is done and forget it; you will wonder why it was such a big deal afterwards :)

Once this is sorted eBay will seriously need to reconsider their practices - If I read this right they don't seem to see a problem with her demanding money off you even though you refunded her in full? Now that's a novel way to make a living!

I have everything crossed for a positive outcome for you, but what a lot of stress and upset for you OP. it's shameful that eBay and the legal system has allowed this to get so far.
