What a brave, brave woman. What courage and what a role model. Have just read her interview with Rodney Edward's having previously read her Facebook post.
She was let down by so many not least the PSNI, Gardaí, GAA and others.
Her 'husband' in all his statements has not denied any of what she has said. My gut is telling me that when this story finally unfolds there will be massive implications not only for the above organisations but also social services and others.
Thank you Nicola

Anyone else hate the drinking culture that comes with the GAA?

Is it true that the GAA have approved transwomen for the female teams? That is a disgrace if true, given all the sporting bodies so far who have said no to trans on women's teams. I never had much time for the GAA, something is off, what do they do with all the gate receipts and loot from concerts in Croker and the grants etc. OK I know they put some into local teams and so on, but the players at senior level are amateurs aren't they?

I agree with others, if I see another death notice saying "he was very highly regarded in his community due to his deep involvement with the local GAA" I will lose it. As if GAA participation makes you a great person ahead of all others. But I suppose that's rural Ireland for ya.

No the GAA hasn't allowed transwomen to play for female teams, a completely different organisation the LGFA did though. Absolutely disgraceful.

Its worse when they say it about a murderer or rapist.
