Has anyone ever won anything on Octopus Spin the Wheel?

Just that really - I’m curious as to anyone has ever won anything!

Why aren't we all seeing the points? I don't have points on my spin the wheel?
Oh, I won £1 last month for first time, think I've been with them about a year and a half

Is there two versions maybe? Having done an image search for it, there seems to be one with amounts in pounds which includes £0, and a version with octopoints where the minimum is 8pts. Maybe it depends on the kind of account you have with them.

Think it's points if you are on a smart meter and opt in to octoplus.

Is it still gambling if there’s no stake involved? Although I suppose they are incentivising us taking meter readings for them so there is a transaction involved.

@CeciliaMars my apologies, it seems as discussed up thread, that there is more than 1 version of the wheel which I was not aware of. One with values in pounds that includes segments with 0, and one with amounts in points where 8 is the minimum. It depends on what account type/opt ins you have as to which you see.

It is points is you have opted into Octopoints. Minimum segment on the Octopoints wheel is 8 = £0.02.

I won £1 once before I opted into Octopoints. Since then I've only ever had 8 points, 2 spins a month, 12 times a year = £0.48 a year.

In about 2 years I only won £1 once. You gest DS has won £1 twice and eldest DS has never won anything.

Is it incentivising though? The stinginess of the prizes, and the remote possibillty of winning, is ludicrous to me. An unpleasant experience which does not encourage me to read my meters (Octopus have to prompt me numerous times).

Been with them since they began, never won a thing, it actually pisses me off, why have a prize draw when your odds of winning even a £1 is beyond tiny?

Big news - I won £1!! Octopus has also included a link to a video you can watch to prove someone has won big…maybe they saw this thread!

I finally won another £1. So that is two whole pounds in about 5 years!!
