Ninja Airfryer or Ninja Foodi Oven

Hi All. As is a lot of people I'm looking to invest in an Airfryer and looking at the Ninja's but it's a bit of a minefield. We use our oven mostly for the following, fajitas, lasagne, croissants, roasts, frozen food, pasta bake, baking. I'm just wondering whether the foodi oven would be better than the dual airfyer?

Looking for any recommendations, good and bad 🙂

@JadeSeahorse thank you very much for that information, that really is great customer service. I have no idea why the reviews I read were poor but your post was very reassuring and very helpful.

We bought a Tower air fryer on Amazon on offer for c£40. It’s fine for cooking the occasional chips that we have - there are only 2 of us. Could a Ninja replace an oven - I’m afraid not in my view as how on earth do they cope with quantities for a larger family? We mostly use our steamer where we cook fish and veg, combi microwave for jacket barbecues and the oven for roasts. Another complication is the mix of veggies and meat eaters in our household. Sure Ninjas are good but so we’re pressure cookers way back!

Jacket potatoes not barbecues!

I keep on seeing these threads and wanting to get one then when I look to see how much you can fit into them they seem very small.

We are five so can you cook for five, even just chips? Can you fit a decent sized chicken into one? Can you make a cake?

I looked at the Phillips XXL in a shop and it seemed teeny to me. But in real life is it different?

I recently got the Ninja Af400 (dual drawer air fryer). The first thing I cooked was a medium chicken - best chicken I’ve ever cooked, really succulent. All done in 50 minutes (would have been 1 hour 43 minutes in the oven plus 10-15 minutes for oven to heat up).

I bought a ninja foodie 9-in-1 on the bank holiday weekend. I cooked pasta in it last night, it took 5 minutes to pressure cook and I then drained the pasta and heated the sauce in the same pot. From nothing to a meal for 2 in less than 10 minutes cooking time, I was amazed!

It also cut down how many dishes I needed to wash and the pasta was lovely! I would buy the foodie rather than just an airfryer for the versatility it offers.

Would I be able to cook a 'full roast' in either of these Ninjas? So for example the dual one: chicken in one side, roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips in the other? Family of 4. (and we don't eat a ton of potatoes)
Or any of the larger ones can do a decent amount? I looked at them in Curry's and I wasn't convinced a chicken wouldn't touch the top. And probably none would fit a chicken with the above veg underneath, would it?
Other than a roast, I'd mainly need it for roasting vegetables and fish, make bread so I don't really need anything that slow/pressure cooks.
