Have been rubbish at posting lately, but have kept reading the thread,
Em frittata is a favourite of mine, but the rest of the family not so much.
wolf there are going to be tough decisions for lots of people over the next weeks & months I imagine, so sorry you're having to make these choices.
Camden that increase is astronomical! Our monthly payment is going from 150 to about 250 I think, was originally 120 with Peoples energy .
Mrs I love those boots too
Dd and I have Kuddly pretend oodies, they are like having the heating on.
Dh and I are in Deon staying with his family minus kiddos for the first time, very strange. Have been blessed with amazing weather so far so have been on the beach at some point both days. Travelling home tomorrow. Has been good to catch up with family and friends but spendy too.
Had a phonecall from ds in the wee small hours this morning. On the way home from a night out, he had witnessed the aftermath of a horrific RTA just around the corner from us. Fortunately only one vehicle involved but clearly from what he saw at least one fatality. Just want to give him a hug, he was pretty distressed.

Happierwithouthim · 06/03/2022 08:17

@Unescorted

Sent the readings in... Down £15 pm. Checked meter readings. They are right.

Party was fun. My feet hurt.

My feet also hurt.

Just checked my online banking and one transaction last night was charged twice Angry

Mrsmadevans · 06/03/2022 08:18

Alfie 325 is not good but better than a lot l know 💐
I am just thinking about the energy increases , l am wondering if the Spring and Summer lower useage has been reflected in these prices ? Surely all our bills will drop in price or are they keeping them high over the summer for when they up prices in October ?
Off to MumBobs today , Nsd fit for me today .
Have a lovely day everyone 😊

northender · 06/03/2022 08:20

North Flowers for ds and you
Sounds like a good night too happier. I associate hurts feet with dancing

Wolfcub · 06/03/2022 09:16

Frugal win, washing out on the line for the first time in 2022.

ememem84 · 06/03/2022 09:27

Mil has had a go at DH for my Instagram posting. Of the dc on the beach. And mentioning I have covid.

Apparently I should be sharing on our family WhatsApp group at all times. I have that muted.

Mrsmadevans · 06/03/2022 09:58

Em she sounds like the sort of person who would drain the joy out of everything. In fact imho, if she has complained about something l would see that as a huge positive and bathe in the knowledge that you are doing just great . Take absolutely no notice of the horrible woman and carry on being the beautiful ray of sunshine we all know you are here 💐👏❤️

Mrsmadevans · 06/03/2022 09:59

Yay Wolf great going! 👏🤗

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/03/2022 17:00

Great frugal win there wolf
I agree em that’s winning at life imo

Bag so dh needs a suit bye bye nsd

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/03/2022 17:00

Bah not bag

ememem84 · 06/03/2022 17:36

No judgement please.

I went to the shop. £123 in Waitrose. My lft is still showing very faint positive. I wore a mask.

We needed a big food shop. Could not ask dparents to do that for me and no online shopping.

I’m basically symptom free (apart from loss of taste and smell). Just not allowed back at work yet. My isolation (when I’m allowed out anyway) einds officially on Wednesday. Or Tuesday. If I get two negative lft by then.

lifelongfrugaleer · 06/03/2022 17:53

No judgment here

Mrsmadevans · 06/03/2022 19:06

Not judging you either Em knowing how thorough you are Flowers

AdoraBell · 06/03/2022 19:58

Yeesh Camden that’s a bloody horrendous price hike.

northender hope DS is okay after witnessing that accident.

em no judgment at all, lovely picture of the beach. Hope you enjoyed sleeping on the bottom bunk 🤣

We’re just back from visiting stepson, their son is 9 weeks old. We met him about a month ago and I really felt the difference when I held him, he’s substantial now 😍

I bought coffee in the morning, £5.50, DH paid on the return journey so I bought chocolate, £1.25
£45 ish on petrol.

I donated £15 on the day the Gov matched donations, can’t remember which day that was. Also donated £10 to Red Cross before DEC set up for Ukraine.

CurlsandCurves · 06/03/2022 22:35

No judgement here @ememem84 you kept yourself and others as safe as possible and you need to eat..

Busy day at work, I’m shattered. We watched The Ipcress File on itv tonight and I think I managed to keep up with it so yay me!

Uploaded this weeks receipts to Shoppix and now I’m off to bed.

ememem84 · 07/03/2022 08:54

i' working from parents today. i had to drop the kids off anyway so figured i'd work from their spare room.

cat face is sitting on my lap at present. i doubt she'l move. she is purring like a maniac.

northender · 07/03/2022 09:26

Last day in Devon, setting off home this afternoon. Lots of eating out spends, will total up later, but it has been a really great weekend of catching up with friends & family.
Da is okay, thanks for all your concern. I think the story had got slightly exaggerated in translation via ds & DH. He was really upset by what he saw but it sounds like the outcome wasn't as bad as he thought.

ememem84 · 07/03/2022 16:55

builders second invoice paid £6324.

still testing positive here so am still working from home. I want to go back to my office! i want to see other people! (although i have been working from parents spare room today as i had to drop the kids round anyway....and made no sense to then turn around and go right back to the other side of the island....)

floatinginmyhomie · 07/03/2022 18:57

Hope you’re all doing okay😊
mrs can’t believe you saw Kate and William! The dress is gorgeous btw
em lovely picture I hope you’re feeling better
Sorry if I’ve missed anything else important. Took DC to the farm today £24.90 for tickets £17.75 on food, so quite pricey but we had a really lovely day so can’t complain.

AdoraBell · 07/03/2022 19:45

NSD.

Mrsmadevans · 07/03/2022 19:48

Floating as long as you had a lovely time that is all that matters Smile
Yes l was so lucky they William & Kate were literally an arms length away from us !
Em no point in leaving to go back to yours l agree & aw bless Catface don't you just love her !
NSD for me today Smile

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/03/2022 07:21

I wouldn’t have driven back em. Waste of time and fuel and you get nurse catface all day.
Don’t worry about keeping up floating just pop in
Did I spend anything yesterday err £6 M&S picking up the suit. £7 Superdrug on kids pain killers
That’s it i think

ememem84 · 08/03/2022 09:41

One negative test down one to go then i can go back to the office. yahoooo!
