£4.39 on lunch (was working in another office this morning, expecting to leave yo collect DC, but mum offered to do that, so spent all day in Amersham, but needed food.

£37 in M&S mainly on tights, and a pack of knickers. for forthcoming trip. I can't stick with black opaques now it is getting summery, and can't really go bare legged when away on business next week.

Spent £152 on M&S online, but got 2 pairs of sandals for me (I have to buy new each year as I have very sweaty, stinky feet), 3 dresses for work for me, plus a pack of socks for DD1. I don't buy clothes very often. Bought 2 dresses in November, wear them every week. Need to throw away an old one with a hole.

I also ordered £500 worth of Euros. I'll need a fair bit for my business trip next week, and any left over we'll use at Cebterparcs the following week. Ordered via Tesco as got the best rate

Passthecake30 · 12/05/2015 07:21

What dresses did you buy in m&s Audit?

Decided to go off sick today. Had trouble sleeping and woke up feeling grim with my cold (head banging etc). Saving £18ish on travel. ..but I'm sure I'll need comfort food (particularly deep ridge steak crisps that I craved all eveningBlush)

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/05/2015 08:00

Audit if you soak your feet in a solution of warm water and potassium permanganate crystals for 10 minutes three nights in a row it reduces sweat gland activity.

The water needs to be a mid pink colour and used before it turns brown from oxidation. If it's too dark a pink there's too much in there. Best done over a towel because it stains.

Independant chemists can order them in, boots won't have it. Very cheap and a little tub lasts years.

You can use ordinary spray on antiperspirant on feet too, the men's range works better than women's ranges do.

Pass crisps sound like an excellent plan. Poor you, summer colds are the worst. Do you use menthol crystals? Really good for clearing sinuses and heads.

I am going to have another go at getting LED bulbs for the kitchen table lamp. One of the halogens has gone so now is a good time to change the lot.

AuditAngel · 12/05/2015 08:05

No time to post about dresses, I'll do links later. Thanks for the soaking tip, never tried that.

I do use deodorant on them, even a foot one. I also use odour eaters. This pair have been in for just under a month and are grim. They are meant to last 4 months.

I'll get mum to order the crystals and do it before I go away.

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/05/2015 08:30

There's Zeasorb powder (not the anti fungal one) and driclor too.

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/05/2015 12:20

£13.20 on three LED bulbs.

lilacclery · 12/05/2015 12:48

fluffy could I put my husband's whole body into that solution do you think?

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/05/2015 13:07

Not the underpants area. Driclors good for underarms too. Bit stingy if you've shaved though.

sportinguista · 12/05/2015 13:08

Another one suffering the cold from hell here, I'm off work as my boss has low immune system and since my role is to directly help her she said to go home.

Been a busy couple of days lots of work coming in at the moment so I'm happy in that sense just wish I could feel better.

On the plus side 3 NSDs as was too rough to go and spend anything last 2 days. Will have to venture out for milk though...

NK5BM3 · 12/05/2015 16:11

Sorry not been about. Have read but little time to think about what I've spent! My brother just messaged me from home and said that our step mother's had a stroke. Don't know how bad yet. Please keep us and her in your thoughts and prayers. Sad

Nk5: thinking of you and your family Flowers
Been to lidl so 40ish on mainly nappies and other cleaning stuff

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/05/2015 17:16

Nk I am sorry. How long until they know anything?.

NK5BM3 · 12/05/2015 17:36

Thanks. I don't know. With the time difference it's difficult to say when dad will get in touch. I will ring when it's morning uk time and that will be afternoon and we shall see what dad says. It's so difficult because I don't know what their plans were (we don't talk about such things!) and because they weren't officially married even though she'd been with him for 20 odd years it's sad. It's horrible for him to go through this again. Mum died of cancer when I was 18. Hmm

SpottyTeacakes · 12/05/2015 17:39

Really sorry to hear this NK. My step mums from NZ and I know how difficult she finds it when family are unwell Thanks

NK5BM3 · 12/05/2015 17:50

Doesn't help that I'm off to Prague tomorrow morning for work! I've told my boss. We can't cancel the flights. There's no point me staying in England and waiting for news anyway. The family can reach me wherever I am. I guess the only thing is, if things get to the end of life then I need to fly out I don't know, next week?

What do I tell the kids? They are 7 and 4!

SpottyTeacakes · 12/05/2015 17:52

Try not to worry yet especially about what you're going to tell the children. My step mum always says there's nothing she can do she just needs to be patient and wait for news then cross that bridge etc. Thanks

Laska42 · 12/05/2015 18:31

so sorry to hear your news NK I hope she makes a good recovery.. Where are your family?

I also had a NSD Smile
Was seriously tempted by adult colouring books in waterstones today but put off by the prices and remembered I dont have any money to spare anyway!!

New Tesco orchard programme has sent invites, if you just login you'll see if you've been invited.

It's fresh berries. I'm thinking of doing a Tart.

girliefriend · 12/05/2015 18:39

Sorry to hear that NK Flowers

LSD £2.30 on school dinner for dd and £1.75 for dds school swim lesson.

Dd has hurt her finger at the playground debating whether it will need x.raying or not, not sure they do much for fingers anyway?

My mums cat had his G.A for investigations today, apparently he had severe diarrhoea when under Shock my mum had to help him have a wash when he got home!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/05/2015 18:46

Could that have been a muscle relaxant?. Poor lad. When do they know the results?.
