Fluffy: I have a heart condition that makes me dizzy and fainting
Well done to the ladies getting a new job and house
Nsd today as well

northender · 07/05/2015 12:17

Well done on the pay negotiation pass, what a result Smile.
Congrats on the new home collie
Glad you're feeling better Italian

Spent £24 at Booths today. For the uninitiated, Booths is a fab North west family run supermarket. My supermarket shops are split between Booths (has always tended to be a bit pricey but uses lots of local suppliers) and aldi. As aldi has increased it's ranges, my Booths shop has reduced but, even better, they have introduced a loyalty scheme which includes some brand discounts and a price comparison scheme. As it's mostly branded stuff we buy there (those things that we don't like or can't get the aldi equivalent) this is great for us. I just checked and we've built up £7.50 in reward vouchers which is a good bonus. Happy days!!

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 07/05/2015 14:05

been and voted. Should be NSD except cheque for driving lesson and test Shock which I will have to write for my instructor in our lesson today.

The landlord of our new rental house (where we move in July) is offering us to choose the paint colours for the hall, landing and stairs (+woodwork) and the bathroom (+ woodwork) and sent us a huge colour chart, I am overwhelmed - any ideas anyone???

SpottyTeacakes · 07/05/2015 14:14

That's so nice missA! I always go neutral then you can accessorise but I'm not great at interior design!

£2 toddler group.

Have applied for a night job at tesco. Not sure how I would cope but they probably won't want me anyway Grin

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 07/05/2015 14:31

spotty yes my bright idea so far is a warm cream for the hall landing and stairs Grin

ItalianWiking84 · 07/05/2015 15:36

Good luck with the app spotty
I'm going to watch bbc tonight so I can follow the election, it's not been aired on our Danish channels

CremeEggThief · 07/05/2015 15:57

NSD. Only left the house for yoga and to vote.

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 07/05/2015 16:51

As predicted £106 to driving instructor, test is 22nd June, the day before my 30th birthday!!! Shock

girliefriend · 07/05/2015 16:55

Hello all, another nsd Smile am doing quite well this week Grin

I did my postal vote last week, will be interesting to see how it goes tonight!

Jacket spuds for tea tonight.

TeWiSavesTheDay · 07/05/2015 17:14

I want to stay up tonight but really I know there won't be any answers for a few days! Lots of people were saying they were undecided still today, so really desperate to know how it's turning out.

£3 at babygroup so far.

SpottyTeacakes · 07/05/2015 17:26

Scary missA! My test(s!) was the scariest thing I've ever done!

Dd is oddly obsessed with David Cameron Confused (she's four so I'm not worried Wink)

AdoraBell · 07/05/2015 17:36

Okay, got my head around yesterday at last.

£5 snack post school/pre Dr appt.
Roads £2
Parking free, under an hour
Dr fee £100a-ish for both DDs
Shopping before all that £17
Pilates - £30, second half of the payment for the month.

NK are you going to go to Pilates regularly now that you've started again? Hope you feel less sore now. I am really feeling yesterday's class today, teacher is moving me onto some next level excerisesShock

Need I know this was few pages back but re your friend and cheap bacon, will I be able to rely on most butchers using better reared animals than supermarkets when we move, do you think? My DH has been raised to believe that dirt cheap is the only consideration in buying meatHmm but living out here has opened his eyes, thank god.

Spotty fab result, defo take the credit.

Italian glad to see you are feeling better.

Pass well done Wine would you like to use your considerable negotiating skills with our solicitor for the house purchase?

Collie congrats on your new home, hope you get BT sorted out soon.

I really like the look of that tarka Dahl over there >> might put that on next week's meal plan.

PeoniesforMissAnnersley · 07/05/2015 18:21

adora I am also salivating liking the look of the Dahl, definitely giving it a go, we are trying to run down all the dried goods and freezer for the move on 7th July.

babsmam · 07/05/2015 18:30

Congratulations on the house collie Envy I would love to move but can't afford it.

25 in morrisons on fruit and a few other bits.

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/05/2015 18:50

Congratulations on buying the house Collie. BT are indeed rubbish.

Adora I use a butcher in a rundown town and even he slaughters on site using animals from a farm 3 miles away. Obviously it hasn't got added water either. It's compare able to supermarket prices and you need less because it's not full of fillers eg sausages.

£23 on 5 hebes, 2 wegelia (sp) and two honeysuckles.
60p cat food.
£3.74 on Malibu and cola but will be refunded on Checkoutsmart so £0.
75p ready mixed ginger wine.
77p crisps.
£7 fish and chips later on.
£10 fuel.

ItalianWiking84 · 07/05/2015 19:02

20 on a brush for a the cat, she is leaving sooooo many hairs... And 12 on Mac because I was lazy and still a bit dizzy

NK5BM3 · 07/05/2015 19:17

Adora - I think I will be going regularly except that I won't be able to do next week as it's a Tuesday class and I fly out at 5am (well the taxi comes at 5) to Prague on Wednesday and given how bad I feel today (2 days on!!) I'm not going to cope (she says lamely).

I was actually quite proud that I could do all do the exercises, and lasted most of the way too. Sigh.

NSD today.

Tomorrow will be spendy as I need to swap money for the trip, even though I will claim it back, buy a present for ds' friend's birthday, buy some Chinese food for a meal we are going to a friends.

I won't be staying up as I'm really useless beyond 9 or so. Plus I have to work tomorrow and get kids to school with no dh help so I will need my sleep!

AdoraBell · 07/05/2015 19:30

Thanks Fluffy

Envy at trip to Prague NK, although I know you'll be working. I think once you've done something like Pilates for a reasonable time your body kind of remembers when you start again. My DH was always very sporty and it only takes him a few days of excerise to improve fitness and/muscle tone now. I found going back to Pilates after a year off much easier than I expected. So don't worry about being sore now.

NK5BM3 · 07/05/2015 20:35

Thanks adora for that encouragement! Yeah the last time I did Pilates was 7+ years ago when I was pregnant with ds so it wasn't even proper Pilates since I had a big bump!! But like you said, when the teacher was telling the class what to do, I knew what moves to make! Embarrassingly though there were quite a few older women there and they were v supple!! Envy

sportinguista · 07/05/2015 21:16

Doing woefully at Nsd's this week Sad , hopefully maybe able to have one tomorrow. On balance many of my clients are paying me more and I'm getting rather more opportunities.

We want to save for a holiday next year and I want to get Ds back to swimming lessons as that was one thing that had to go when I quit last job.

I do need to get fit as well NK I just need to actually get off my ass and do it instead of procrastinating. I just hope like Adora says my body will remember my former fitness. I really hate being unfit and too heavySad.
