Iamnotanugget · 15/04/2015 17:53

Popping back to say fluffy if I've ordered Tesco vouchers in the morning they've often arrived the next day but I always order at least a week in advance just in case Royal Mail let me down.

LaChatte · 15/04/2015 18:11

Blush Thank you for the kind comments! Oh dear Girlie it appears to have all vanished, I have no idea how, otherwise I would absolutely have sent you a piece.

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/04/2015 18:34

Thanks nugget

Blimey Audit your kids are gorgeous! Did you make those costumes? They look brimming with confidence.

Good news itsall.

Afternoon all - a non spend day for me (as I only count the days when I haven't spent any money on myself)

Start of month today with £1337.87 credit.

End of day
Bank: £1021.06 (was £31.79dr)
Purse: £9.11 (was £9.11)
Jar: £30.30 (was £0.45)

Grand Total: £1060.47
Reduced by: £277.40
Days to payday: 30
Proper Savings: £574.29

Spends:
£190.00 – DH spending money
£10.40 – Prepaid prescription
£54.00 – My monthly bus pass
£18.79 – I owe DH (haircut, birthday contribution, wedding contribution, budgie food)
£4.21 – bus fare / athletics.

Budget looks like this: £1060.47
Petrol: £200.00
Groceries: £300
Interest: £8.80(might be less)
Bus fares & Kids activities: £63.60
HSBC credit card: £12.55
Leaves for everything else....£475.52 (seems a bit high, I'm sure I'm missing something)

Petrol budget is higher than normal as athletics season is upon us again which means more petrol.

CremeEggThief · 15/04/2015 19:24

£6.40 travel.
£7.75 Tesco.
£28.50 DS's school bus pass.
Total: £42.65

AuditAngel · 15/04/2015 19:41

Thanks for the nice comments on the kds, they are quite cute (when not slamming doors etc.).

No, I didn't make the costumes (i can't use a sewing machine) which means the show much more than if I was able to make them. Fortunately we have someone who makes them for a (not very) small fee. For that costume, DS's normal dinner jacket was used and I just had to hand stitch the sequins on, but still needed to buy the waistcoat and tie. The girls costumes were both made completely for me.

Spends today £15 in Tesco for lunch today and tomorrow, plus Jaffa cakes, sweets and pate. £6 in super drug on Odoreaters to try to avoid the need to replace my stinky shoes.

AuditAngel · 15/04/2015 19:42

Utsall well done on getting the IVA, we have an insolvency department where I work, I hope you will find this much less stressful

AuditAngel · 15/04/2015 19:48

We are looking for time away at half term. Looking at Center parcs in Belgium, cousins were there at Easter and loved it. Debating whether to go Friday to Friday (taking one day off school) or Tuesday to Monday (an inset day) Eurotunnel costs the same either option.

DH wants the extra day, but that costs an extra €220. Looking at the website, it seems the week earlier than we want to go has been discounted to the same price as the 6 day break, so holding off to see if the week we want gets reduced. We could end up using our, but we can go for the 6 day break, or go to the Netherlands Center Parcs instead.

Pointlessfan · 15/04/2015 20:16

lachatte that looks like one from a restaurant, I fancy some pudding now - might just have to crack open another Easter egg!
Goof news itsall.
NSD today and I got home from work early enough to take DD out in the pushchair and enjoy the sunshine for a bit.
Had stir fried veg and tofu with brown rice for tea (healthy) and am defrosting a portion of sweet potato curry for tea tomorrow. Friday's tea will also be from the freezer (spag bol) then planning to go to Lidl on Saturday.

Laska42 · 15/04/2015 20:34

spendy again! (sigh) but DS has a job interview on friday ( keeping all fingers crossed)

Hes not to wear a suit they say as it s a warehouse job and they want him to attend there ( and lift heavy things as part of the interview process I think) so theyve said com ein suitable workwear.. so have spent £83 in Tkmaxx, on trousers , poloshirt , shoes and jumper for him ( as he only had scruffy jeans and t shirt other wise.. Lets hope he gets it .. it would be an answer to a lot of his troubles.. (i'll have to to look for his old toe--tecters though)

lachatte stop that posting of yummy food.. i've just started back on 5:2 and its a fast day ! .

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/04/2015 21:35

I hope he gets it Laska.

Tassimo pods are reduced to £3 in tescos. Not the cappuccino or latte though.

TeWiSavesTheDay · 15/04/2015 22:11

DH spent £9.85 at the supermarket. way overbudget on food/chemist pot this month.

AuditAngel · 15/04/2015 22:23

I hope none of you mind, but I have just been sent video of a charity cabaret the children took part in during November. I am very proud.

This is part one. DS is (obviously) one of the boys, DD2 is a bunny!

Part 1

AuditAngel · 15/04/2015 22:27

Here is the second part. DD2 is the first little girl carried in on a man's shoulders (who then re-arranges her knickers!)

part 2

AuditAngel · 15/04/2015 22:30

Fluffy they never reduce the pods for my coffee machine Sad

AuditAngel · 15/04/2015 22:31

DD1 is also in both parts of the video, but much harder to point her out.

lilacclery · 16/04/2015 05:07

Nsd for me yesterday & probably today also

babsmam · 16/04/2015 06:51

£2 yesterday on charity cake. Naughty but yum.
That must be a relief itsall.

Will peek At the video later audit but you be proud if you want. Our shows are such hard work too you have to get as much out of them you can.

Dh may be going to aldi today as the fitness kit has come in so lord only knows today.
He wants a new ipod for his birthday anyone seen any good deals?

annielostit · 16/04/2015 07:59

Curry's are doing some iPod deals, depends on how many gbs you want.

girliefriend · 16/04/2015 14:15

Aww Audit I would be proud as punch as well Smile

So bit spendy today, just working it out;

£2.90 parking

£2.23 in Card Warehouse got 2 cards, 2 sheets of wrapping paper and a gift tag for that!

£17.23 in Superdrug - eek! However it was sort of frugal as got 9 items for that, I have also been shopping around for the cheapest face wash and cream I use. I checked in Wilkos first and decided i could still do better. Went into Superdrug and it was on BOGOF offer Grin in total saved £7.60 and have enough face wash/cream to last 2 months easily!!

£16 in Next on 4 gorgeous baby sleep suits for one of my best friends who gave birth on Monday. Hoping to pop round and see them later - exciting!!

So am childfree for the night as dd away at camp, going to go out with a friend for some tea. Have set a budget of £10 Grin

Need to check my online account but have a feeling it won't be looking good Sad

SpottyTeacakes · 16/04/2015 14:26

Have fun girlie!

Nsd here.

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/04/2015 16:31

Grin Girlie, my cousin didn't know what to do last time they had a child free night. They went back home at 9pm.

Audit I'd be so proud too. I thought the man had rearranged her knickers. Was momentarily outraged until I watched it.

NSD.

Sainsburys energy have tried to raise my dd to £45 from £36.50. I've phoned to say don't you fecking dare. Naicely.

SpottyTeacakes · 16/04/2015 17:36

Made this veg casserole for dinner minus the courgette. It was delicious served with couscous. I whizzed it up for the dc and they had casserole soup Grin clean plates/bowls all round though.

CremeEggThief · 16/04/2015 19:34

£6.40 travel and 89p on milk.
