Air filtration to reduce covid in govt

It's recently emerged that some government areas e.g. www.purifiedair.com/case-studies/ministry-of-defence/ have had measures in place to reduce the spread of covid. This is obviously a good thing, but why the apparent reluctance to address elsewhere?

@maryso I'm glad your children and you wear FFP3 masks, I wear a 3M Aura whenever I'm indoors and a Kf94 outdoors. I'm sorry your children are facing abuse for it.

However it would still benefit the mask wearers if they are in school with filtration - reducing the risk to them from the rest of the class being unmasked, whilst also benefiting the rest of the students, whether or not we think they are 'deserving' of protection.

I think many parents are completely unaware of the seriousness of covid, they've fallen for the 'it's just a cold' / 'we need regular infection to top up our immunity' lines because that's what the government has effectively decided. If the media would do its job to properly highlight all the dangers posed by covid reinfections, perhaps more parents would wake up to the need to protect their children. There's been a total failure of public health. I was pleased to see George Monbiot's column yesterday highlighting the need for better air and more masking, the messaging seems to be slowly gaining traction.
