What does everyone think about this?

I personally felt massive relief when I heard this, finally looking like the end of restrictions on our lives. I know it will be scary for some people who are more anxious but for me I am really looking forward to this happening.

Yes, sorry - I take your point.
I will change my statement to “you think you may have Covid and/or you feel under the weather - let your friend know”

@whynotwhatknot

i would normally be happy but its coming from the man whose tring to cover up all his rule breaking he doesnt care about your health
And a man who sent the Health Secretary out to make the announcement as he was too shit scared to face any questions.

Even if you are vulnerable, being triple jabbed means you are at as low risk of covid as flu.

You need to get your facts right! Many who have had 3 and even 4 jabs are still at high risk, as they may not have any antibodies from the vaccines, think those with cancers, those having chemo, those with lung disease or on immunosuppressant medication. There are 500,000 of them! Lets hope you or your family don't ever find yourself in that position! With perfectly healthy people telling you its nothing.

Spent over a week in hospital, also had to isolate 14 days before and take 3 covid tests (one a few days before one during admission and one during my stay, the latter one being something that many other people on my ward didn’t hear off). During my surgery I had to wear a mask to theatre and on my way back up from the recovery suites. I also had to wear one in the ward when not in my bed. I was not allowed any visitors at all. I completely understand these rules but I don’t understand that how in 2 months people won’t need to isolate (or potentially even test) but hospitals are enforcing strict rules.

According to the ONS, 97% of the U.K. population now has antibodies - either from vaccination or previous infection. We’re not going to get much better odds than that with any infectious disease so definitely time to move on.
