2nd Pfizer arm won't move

I've had both jabs now . I have severe allergies so had it done in a clinic yesterday. Second Pfizer yesterday.

I know you can get a dead or aching arm but I can't move mine at all, it's literally stuck, and I also can't move my neck. It's not that I can't move it because it hurts, it literally just won't move. Is this normal? I don't know what would be particular to me having bad reactions to things or just something you get with this jab.

Maybe just phone 111 to ask their opinion.

It might be normal if you have severe allergies but I would definitely phone to make sure x

This is the most irritating thread I’ve read to date.

“It’s not aching like the normal reaction it’s completely paralysed - is that normal? - I have severe allergies”

“No, go to a&e or see a do immediately”

“Nah, I’ll wait. Thnx tho.”

Don’t bloody ask then. Come back in the ‘few days’ you intend on leaving it Hmm

ThatsNotMyReindeer · 07/10/2021 12:40

It's ok I've booked a GP appointment

Which surgery do you go to? I think I might move there, I'd love to be able to get an appointment that quickly at 8:25am!

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 07/10/2021 12:41

People are weird on here-why you would ask on the internet what should you do about a completely paralysed limb rather than phone 111 or go to A&E is beyond me

ZednotZee · 07/10/2021 13:06

I hope you're ok OP.

@ThatsNotMyReindeer of course she got an appointment straight away, it seems somewhat of an emergency don't you think?

What's your problem?. I updated shortly after saying I'd booked an appointment as people had suggested?! I didn't wait and said as such. RTFT!

My doctor's are bloody brilliant. Obviously they triage requests for appointments on a morning, but I have never had an occasion when I've not been able to get an on the day appointment for me or my children. You can also get them for the afternoon / evening if you call at 1pm. They're really REALLY good. I'm lucky, I know.

Why ask? Because I've seen over the months that there have been so many posts on vaccine side effects. It's a new vaccination and I didn't know whether this was someone that anyone had experienced. Like I say, I have complex health issues and so I take a lot of doctors appointments, so I wanted to find out if this was a normal / not normal thing before I potentially wasted an appointment that could have been better used by someone else.

Sorry if that's not ok, or if you think my judgement is stupid. But I didn't know if this was a normal thing or not.

I read the full thread and still thought it was ridiculous. You asked for advice, ignored the majority and shrugged off a side effect that you posted worried about.

Something tells me you’ve exaggerated your post (or you’re just telling porkies) and didn’t know how to respond to the 99% telling you to seek immediate care.

Piapiano · 07/10/2021 18:07

What did the GP say?

ApolloandDaphne · 07/10/2021 18:09

How did you get on at the GP?

Desirey · 08/10/2021 08:53

New vaccine, new problems.

Confused10101 · 08/10/2021 09:05

@Desirey

New vaccine, new problems.
That should read new vaccines, ignored problems..

That aside hope you are ok OP?
