Had mine Friday, felt ok till this morning, arms swollen up, temp of 38.9 and everything aches. If you had similar, how long did it last?

I had the Phizer on Thursday. Pain in arm rest of day and night. Still a bit sore on Friday and got a headache Friday afternoon and felt a bit off. But I suffer from headaches anyway so might not have been related to the vaccine. Feel completely feel today Smile

I had the Oxford vaccine yesterday morning, by the evening my arthritis was starting to flare up and I had cold hands and feet. Woke up this morning feeling like I was hungover and achey. Improved in the day, but starting to tire out again now.

@FlatteredRhubardFool one of the people we support had the same reaction as two of us on our team but with vomiting on top of everything else, she was much better the following day.

I had Pfizer Friday, Saturday felt sick all day and then dizziness. Dizzy on Sunday still and was sick again in the evening. I feel a little light headed today but much better generally. I think it’s normal for side effects to last a few days for some people.

No more vomiting and feel much better apart from tired and a bit weak. It was awful.

I had the Oxford one on Saturday night.
Woke up yesterday morning feeling very thirsty, shivery and aching all over. I slept most of the day, I only woke to drink pints of water.
Still thirsty this morning and my eyes are aching, as is my arm where I had the jab.

My parents and mother in law all had the Pfizer and didn’t even get as much as a sore arm.

I can happily report I feel fine today! So a little over 24 hours of temp, aches, generally run down but nothing to worry about in the grand scheme of things Smile

For balance, my colleagues and family members who had AZ or Pfizer have all been fine apart from two who felt sick the day after. Think I’ve just been unlucky as I’ve never felt ill after any other vaccines!

I know quite a few people who've had AZ and none have had side effects. I haven't had a vaccine for about 15 years so I have no idea if I should expect side effects!
