There's lots of threads on here about what we miss most, but with recent news on vaccinations, I've started to think about what I'm looking forward to once the situation improves. For me:

Cinema (miss this so much - there's only so much Netflix you can watch.)
Ditto theatre - though it's more of an expensive activity, so don't do it as often.
Browsing clothes shops
Seeing friends
Seeing my best friend, who I've not seen for a year as she's CEV
Popping into a pub for a pint after a walk
Browsing bookshops
Live music/jazz clubs (eventually)
Holiday abroad or even in the UK

Seeing my son ( a year now).
Seeing my friends and cooking a meal for them in my new home.
Going away in our caravan.
Visiting a restaurant.

SeldomFollowedIt · 03/02/2021 16:44

I miss the spark of life, and everything big and small that encompasses that.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 03/02/2021 16:45

Being able to pop into friend's houses for a cup of tea, and having them here for same.
Seeing more of the DC. One of them we've seen once in 13 days.
Group dog training - a bigger part of my life than I had realised.
Being able to try on clothes, in the shop.
Mooching round the shops to find suitable birthday presents for friends and relations.
Driving somewhere for an outing.

And not having to wear a bloody mask or visor at work. I never want to see another bottle of hand san as long as I live.

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 03/02/2021 16:45

*13 months.

Shopaholic100 · 03/02/2021 16:46

Seeing my family.
Going shopping anywhere but the supermarket!
Getting dressed up, to eat out
Go on holiday.

supersonicginandtonic · 03/02/2021 16:47

A meal out
A girls night in town
A weekend away, child free
Getting on a plane
A festival
A gig

And even doing the school run normally and seeing and chatting to other mums.

MoveAsideCherry · 03/02/2021 16:48

Seeing friends and family obviously
Eating out
Casually and slowly shopping for fanciful none essentials!
Cinema
Going out for the day with my family and stopping off on the way

DurhamDurham · 03/02/2021 16:49

Stopping off at a nice cafe or pub half way around a long walk. We're keeping up with the long walks but it's not nearly so much fun when you can't have a coffee and big fat cake half way Grin

Meeting up with my sister for a leisurely lunch, we have lots of catching up to do.

AuntyClementine · 03/02/2021 16:50

Being able to see my family without having to organise an outdoor meeting in a park, like something out of a John le Carre novel.

Being able to go to Tesco to buy one frivolous item (alcohol, chocolate, rotisserie chicken) without feeling like I’m a total shit.

THE PUB.

Being able to burn my fucking mask and dance on the ashes.

hamstersarse · 03/02/2021 16:50

Parties

Full on "lets have a party" Shameless style parties

Iamclearlyamug · 03/02/2021 16:51

To see my fiancé and GET MARRIED - haven’t seen him for 5 months already and won’t be able to until the international travel ban is lifted 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

AuntieMarys · 03/02/2021 16:53

Spontaneity! Nights away, theatre, gigs, lunches, glasses of wine in nice bars......

ShipshapeShore · 03/02/2021 16:55

Family gathering on Sunday and Mum cooking.
Going City shopping with nice lunch and a cocktail.
The library!
School day back to normal - I'm a TA and the last 40 mins at the end of each day was me getting kids ready to go home with earlier finishing siblings and going up and down the stairs with them. Going back to everyone leaving at the same time will be bliss!

yearinyearout · 03/02/2021 16:58

Travel abroad
Going to see live music
Theatre
Pub with friends
Coffee with my mum

MarcelineMissouri · 03/02/2021 16:59

Going to the cinema - not only do I love going (watching films in your lounge is just never going to compare no matter how big your tv is) but this is also dh’s job which is obviously extremely precarious right now.

Going out for meals
Going on holiday
My school being able to do their sports and clubs
No more masks

Redwinestillfine · 03/02/2021 17:01

Popping into friends for a cuppa, ditto meeting in coffee shops, girls nights, just mooching around town, supermarket shopping without having to rush around in a mask trying not to get too close to anyone!

Dose 2 of my vaccine and DH getting his- he’s a lot further down the list! Also dose 2 of my parents and MIL vaccine.
Seeing friends inside for food and wine and a play for the children
DS being able to have and go on sleepovers and play dates with friends and grandparents
Meals out
Holidays abroad - we were so hoping to go on a villa holiday to Spain this summer with my parents but it’s looking increasingly unlikely.
I would like to do a filling in level 2 PPE but that’s never going to happen again.

SaskiaRembrandt · 03/02/2021 17:07

Taking my children (nearly 4 and nearly 1) to visit family

Going to toddler groups so I can chat to other mums

Going out for a meal. Even just a sandwich at a cafe or something.

Meeting with my book club - online just isnt the same.

Having my best friend over for dinner. Admittedly she did come over during the summer when it was allowed, but she usually comes every week!

FlagsFiend · 03/02/2021 17:25

I was fairly happy with the situation between July and October - I'm naturally introverted so don't want big parties, I'm not bothered about having to wear a mask or sanitise my hands.

I'm looking forward to going out for coffee or a meal with my husband, meeting up with a couple of friends inside (or in summer outside is fine...), visiting my family, going on day trips - all of these things were allowed in the summer so I'm hopeful they will be allowed again soon.

littlepeas · 03/02/2021 17:29

Kids being able to go to school/see their friends/have a normal childhood.

Pilates and yoga (hate online).

Anything spontaneous.
