Has bean coffee
The magpie that eats the pine nuts off my office window ledge
That I can blast the magic flute because I'm not in the office

Thank you op - I was struggling to see the good in today but I'm back on track now.

The wonderful Kingston Hospital looking after my DM, who is on her ninth stay in thirteen months. Also grateful that DM survived covid in December despite being ECV.

For DD's and DS's amazing teachers and support and pastoral staff.

My local open spaces (Royal London park). The lack of air traffic.

For my vaccination on Sunday.

For my church family and faith, that is sustaining me.

That there appears to be a chink of light at the end of the tunnel.

On a lighter note: coffee, what would I do without it!

Mommyme74 · 03/02/2021 11:40

@Mammma91. This reminds me of when I was a kid. There were no shops where we lived, so regardless of the weather and darkness I would always be sent off for pints of milk (2 mile walk). Eventually a shop opened very close to home. My gratitude was huge, life changing 😂😊

On a personal level - my house and garden, my husband (even though he drives me demented at times), my cat. The food in my fridge, the wine in my cupboard (maybe a bit too fond of that!) and my warm bed at night.

More widely - the NHS, the supermarket and other retail workers, delivery drivers and the wonders of modern medicine.

AlbertCampion · 03/02/2021 14:27

That we decided to get a super king bed back in 2019. So grateful for being able to properly languish during lockdown without being squashed! Grin

BabyStarling · 03/02/2021 15:19

The beautiful place where I live. Even though I’m only allowed to go walking once a day in my local area, it’s enough. It’s lovely.

eve80 · 03/02/2021 15:34

My beautiful 2 DC
My job that allows me a decent life...
My mum....

@HenriettaHeffalump

Dh and dcs Roof over my head Opportunity to start new career (aka being base redundant Grin, but I'm reframing it as a good thing, as I do have time and some savings set aside to retrain)

Btw, Oprah said doing daily gratitudes is part of her success, so a really good thing to do! Thanks for the thread op. I'm grateful for thread eh? Eh?

I've just been offered a job in a field I have been thinking about going in to! Do you think it was the gratitudes that did it Wink?
RedPandaFluff · 03/02/2021 17:00

I am so incredibly grateful for my one-year old DD, that the odds were massively stacked against us ever having. The highlight of my day is closing my laptop and getting a big cuddle when I pick her up from nursery. I just adore her wee face!

Lampzade · 07/02/2021 01:05
@Lampzade. Lovely list. Happy to hear you are recovering/recovered from Covid. Give yourself lots of self care😊
Thanks so much

That DPs business partner/ supposed best man showed his true colours and shafted us before the wedding meaning we won't have to see his smug ugly weasly cunt face in our wedding pics.

Mintjulia · 07/02/2021 03:01

My son - every day of this pandemic.

The birds singing in the sunshine, and finding the first daffodils in the garden yesterday and thinking it's almost spring.

Littlefluffyclouds13 · 07/02/2021 08:33

My teenagers. Their lives are rubbish! Literally everything they love doing has been removed from their lives but they are cheerful (mostly) and good company.
They have taken it totally in their stride and just take each day as it comes, they have amazed me Star

Xerochrysum · 07/02/2021 08:52

My dc being happy and smiling.
