YouTube - been using so many workouts and watercolour tutorials
Past me buying exercise bike in lockdown 1. Great decision!
DH working from home and seeing the kids way more
DH in general
Healthy kids
No-one I know has been ill with covid touch wood. Pretty sure DH had it late Feb/early march.
Spring bulbs coming up in our new garden (moved in July so haven’t seen the garden in spring yet)
Sertraline and my fab GP who is really interested in PMDD and keen to sort me out
The lovely and enlightening dietician I’ve just finished seeing
My tenacity - am finally starting to slim down
Grateful for how me and DH both have endless different interests and that seems to be extending down to the kids
Financial security touch wood
Vaccines
The few good friends I have, always there with an ear and advice
All 4 of my grandparents still going
Both my parents healthy ish
Errrrrm.... there’s more. There’s also plenty I’d love to change in my life but that’s not what this thread is for!

My family and the fact we are all healthy.
Our house.
Our wedding later this year.
Money in the bank and food on the table.
Friends (although things obviously not the same now).
Where we live.

Kindle Unlimited.

On a serious note...
The positive outlook of my children.
The sun is poking out from the clouds
Internet. Fantastic invention. And computers.

I am incredibly grateful that we managed to complete our IVF cycle just before the clinics closed in the first shut down. My daughter is 3 months old today!
I am also grateful that we are allowed to bubble with my mum who is helping with the baby whilst I homeschool my older son.

On a lighter note:
Tea bags

MrsCaplan · 03/02/2021 10:29

My dogs
My hubby and my kid
My house (a crappy shithole, but it's warm, and it's MY shithole)
Iceland do Gregg's Steak Bakes and it's my nearest corner shop. Oink.

newlabelwriter · 03/02/2021 10:29

Having DC at home. I’m actually quite amazed at that as felt super stressed when they were home in lockdown 1, but we’re all getting on really well and they’re both much happier than they were before too.

CeeJay81 · 03/02/2021 10:30

My job - its low paid but i'm a Key worker and i get to see a lot of people, it keeps me going even if it does increase my risk.

Having a reasonable size garden was a god send last year and will be again this year.

Living in a small very rural community with enough facilities to not really need to leave in lockdown(supermarket, post office, take aways, doctors, park) but with tons of countryside for walks.

I try to remember all this when I'm struggling on. We are have different circumstances.

SillyOldMummy · 03/02/2021 10:35

The fact that I accidentally ordered 11 packets of Fishermans Friends from Amazon. I had a non-covid chest infection, and it is very helpful to manage the cough when I'm taking my daily exercise, otherwise I get evil looks from people.
I think I really need a big badge saying "don't worry, the Test was negative".

@SlipperTripper. Nothing mundane about your gratitudes. It’s a lovely list, thanks for sharing. Enjoy the Jaffa’s 😋😊

Work, have been brilliant supporting us working from home.
Vaccines and the prospect of better weather soon.

@MrsCaplan. Home is where the heart is! So late to the party but it was only Dec last year when I ever tried a Gregg steak bake (the festive one). It truly was a When Harry met Sally moment😂

That my dc are old enough to do their school work independently
That we have not really been financially affected by all of this
That we moved to a rural area a few years back. We've loved it from day 1, but this past year has made us feel particularly glad we did it.
The fact that my dc get on so well with each other and that all four of us enjoy each other's company most of the time, even though we'd obviously like to be seeing other people too!
