How is this right, vaccine roll out

My sons friend works for the NHS in admin. He is in his 20s, fit and healthy. He can work from home but chooses to go into the office where there is only 1 other person. Because he works for the NHS he was offered the jab and had it last week. I'm in my 50s, a teacher and in class teaching 19 year 10 students. I don't want to get into when teachers should have the jab, I'm happy to wait my turn but it just seems very unfair that because this lad works for the NHS he has had the jab even tho he doesn't come into contact with any patients

Someone I know who works as a receptionist for a private physio just got their vaccine. Not even NHS. The more vaccines the better I guess but not sure why it was offered.

I work in NHS admin and I have had the vaccine. I am over 50 but am in perfectly good health. To be honest I felt guilty getting it and I would have happily given it to someone more vulnerable if I'd had the choice. However where I work in paediatric outpatients the doctors are still seeing patients by phone/zoom and urgent cases face to face so we'restill needed in our jobs to keep services running. Also many of us volunteer at the vaccine booking centre when we can so I can see the logic in keeping us well and working
