Are you happy to have the vaccine , I know that I’ll be having it when it’s my turn

InterfectoremVulpes · 19/01/2021 17:28

Well, they haven't lied or betrayed me yet 😆

Watsername · 19/01/2021 17:29

Yes, of course - can’t wait!

Wilkolampshade · 19/01/2021 17:29

Yep.

midgebabe · 19/01/2021 17:32

More than a typical Mnetter

Autumnspice · 19/01/2021 17:34

Yes and I’ve had my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. My overriding feeling was relief!

Retrogal · 19/01/2021 17:35

Yes, of course. Trust science

OnlyBejoking · 19/01/2021 17:36

Absolutely

LetItGoGo · 19/01/2021 17:37

Yes.

middleager · 19/01/2021 17:37

Of course!

GingerAndTheBiscuits · 19/01/2021 17:38

Yep! Anything that gets us out of this bloody awful situation.

Londono · 19/01/2021 17:39

YES, YES, YES, YES, YES.

GintyMcGinty · 19/01/2021 17:39

I will get one as soon as I can and the sooner the better

Mintjulia · 19/01/2021 17:40

Yes.

DayKay · 19/01/2021 17:44

No I won’t. I’ve had covid so I’m hoping I have antibodies. If you can’t be immune after having it then I don’t understand how a vaccine can make you immune.
What about all the mutations? How often are we expected to have the vaccine?
People are offered the flu vaccine once year. Will the covid vaccine be the same? Maybe it will be more often? Flu isn’t usually around in the summer but covid seems to be.
I don’t know. So many questions.

Applejack87 · 19/01/2021 17:47

My thoughts are the same, I’m last on
the list but I think as you said gingerandthebiscuits it’s the only way out of this awful pandemic , I don’t think any of us will ever take anything for granted again 🥲

Had mine, it was no problem at all, felt like I was being given the best gift ever.

PilatesPeach · 19/01/2021 18:02

The antiobodies from covid are way lower than the immunity you get from the vaccine, even more so if you had mild covid or were asymtomatic.

I had the Pfizer at the weekend. Feel very lucky. 2nd dose in 10 weeks.

thedancingbear · 19/01/2021 18:03

yep.

thedancingbear · 19/01/2021 18:04

Which of these, pray tell, is a good reason not to have the vaccine.

Typical anti-science anti-vaxxer 'I don't understand nuffin' lunacy.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 19/01/2021 18:04

Had mine yesterday. I was apprehensive but so relieved I’ve had it.

maddy68 · 19/01/2021 18:07

Yes. I trust scientists

RudolphtheRemaindeer · 19/01/2021 18:09

100% yes, but I'm way down the list.

DayKay · 19/01/2021 18:13

@thedancingbear how does that make me an anti vaxxer?
I’m completely pro vaccines. Just because I have sensible questions around a brand new vaccines does not make me an anti vaxxer. Don’t be ridiculous.

WhydoesItAlwaysRainMe · 19/01/2021 18:14

Yes - already had my first Pfizer

thedancingbear · 19/01/2021 18:16

You're saying you're not going to take the vaccine because there are unanswered questions.

Not saying you intend to be better informed. Not showing an iota of curiosity. Just going 'i don't understand so I ain't taking it'

I'll ask again (though I expect I'm wasting my time): which of the reasons in your post is a reason not to have the vaccine (pilatespeach has addressed your first point)?

As I said, anti-vaxxer.
