Update for the people who helped the night I couldn’t sleep

A few nights ago during those horrible small hours I reached out on here for friends to talk to. My husband gravely ill in ICU with Covid.

Today they moved him to a ward! They are pleased with his progress. He is doing well.

We have been warned to expect a long and slow recovery but as long as eventually a recovery comes bring it on! I’m ready to help him with anything he needs for as long as it takes.

Thank you all so much for the other night. The fact that you answered my cry for help bought much comfort and eventually a couple of hours of precious sleep. Xx

Ah, I’m so pleased to hear that update, OP. You coped so well on that first thread despite the very frightening situation, so it’s great news that your DH is out of ICU and on the road to recovery now
