I'm getting so angry with rule breakers who keep justifying seeing friends and family by claiming they are in their bubble , as I was aware the whole point is not to have so called 100 bubbles of people that's why we are in this shite mess does anyone relate to these kind of humans ? 🤯🤨

@GetOffYourHighHorse @Aberforthsgoat

www.gov.uk/guidance/making-a-support-bubble-with-another-household#who-can-make-a-support-bubble

Who can make a support bubble
Not everybody can form a support bubble. However, on 2 December the rules changed to widen eligibility for forming one.

You can form a support bubble with another household of any size if

you live by yourself – even if carers visit you to provide support
you are the only adult in your household who does not need continuous care as a result of a disability
your household includes a child who is under the age of one or was under that age on 2 December 2020
your household includes a child with a disability who requires continuous care and is under the age of 5, or was under that age on 2 December 2020
you are aged 16 or 17 living with others of the same age and without any adults
you are a single adult living with one or more children who are under the age of 18 or were under that age on 12 June 2020
You should not form a support bubble with a household that is part of another support bubble.

The first lockdown didn't allow support bubbles. You had pensioners seeing no one, lone livers seeing no one, couples becoming parents for the first time and seeing no one. It was absolutely sickening the Government allowed this. The support bubbles are needed. If you don't want to make use of it then don't but don't blame people who do!

The virus is awful yes but the high percentage of people recover. Peoples mental health after this mess might not!

GetOffYourHighHorse · 07/01/2021 18:48

My mistake @mercybooth I didn't realise the rules had changed. Apologies Flowers.

MercyBooth · 07/01/2021 19:06

No worries GetOff I think it should be publicised more at the press conferences, not tucked away on the website. I suspect there are people who would qualify for the carer support bubble who have no idea it exists if they havent got access to the internet.

ElevenBells · 07/01/2021 19:14

It’s the people with multiple bubbles that I find are most judgemental of everyone else. it’s one thing to bend the rules to suit yourself but don’t then get irate at couples shopping together, key workers sending their kids to school, someone not jumping into the road when they pass you on the street. The hypocrisy annoys me more than the rule breaking.

Bimbleboo · 07/01/2021 23:05

@ElevenBells I often think this is because they believe by shouting loudly and pointing ‘over there’ at the bad people....

You might not notice what THEY themselves are doing thats shitty and massively selfish/irresponsible.

Either that or it’s a tactic to make people feel too uncomfortable to say anything. You can’t mention how selfish and stupid they are being if they are filling the convo up with all their faux concern and finger pointing.
