Even the heads of Independent schools have been backing the actions of their state counterparts so far.
This virus has brought together all the education groups that would normally be criticising each others' decisions. I think that speaks volumes
I didn't realise the independent sector were vocally supporting state colleagues. Good on them.
What's worrying is that SAGE, relevant experts, school leaders, classroom teachers, support staff, unions representing groups who are normally in conflict all in agreement on this issue and all the fools of this world can say is 'yeah but I heard teachers want to close schools and be paid for doing nothing'
It's astounding levels of poor critical thinking.
And as an aside, I would be really interested in how many of them talking about teachers apparently being paid by the taxpayers to do nothing accepted furlough pay
