Jobseeker19 · 30/12/2020 16:55

Or which website will they appear on?

Fortherosesjoni70 · 30/12/2020 17:11

What extra mitigations for the children who may now be more susceptible?
What a terrible situation.
I really feel for school staff.

someone linked to it earlier on the thread...

Passmeabottlemrjones · 30/12/2020 17:12

The list is in the link that UselessTrees posted above isn't it? At the bottom?

Violetroselily · 30/12/2020 17:12

Bumping this post in case people have missed it

Katjolo · 30/12/2020 17:12

The list should have been shared in the announcement. Ridiculous!

CanICelebrate · 30/12/2020 17:14

Oops I’ve just started a thread on this as I hadn’t seen this one!

Jobseeker19 · 30/12/2020 17:14

Does that mean all nurseries are open

OP posts:
Scaryprospects · 30/12/2020 17:15

Primary schools should only allow children of critical workers and those defined as vulnerable to attend.

But the link shared earlier states this above. They said it wouldn’t apply to all primary schools ?

MillieEpple · 30/12/2020 17:16

Thanks for sharing the guidance with list at the bottom.

CanICelebrate · 30/12/2020 17:17

There are a list of areas on that link, mostly Essex, London and Kent

2bedammed · 30/12/2020 17:17

Ridiculous that Greenwich is not included

SquirmOfEels · 30/12/2020 17:20

Am I being dim?

The linked contingency plan guidance covers primary, middle and special schools.

What's going on for secondaries?

Lifeispassingby · 30/12/2020 17:20

It’s not out yet, but nothing new there then!

fastwigglylines · 30/12/2020 17:20

We're right next to one of the areas where schools are closed - lots of traffic between the two towns, still, for work / shopping / hospital visits / children living in two households etc.

And cases are rising here, we're not so far behind. Yet I'm meant to send my DD into school on Monday? Fuck that. I think we'll happen to be "isolating" next week. I predict the numbers will continue to rise and they'll close our school eventually. After there have been lots more deaths locally, no doubt Angry.

Tattydh · 30/12/2020 17:20

I can open the link but cannot find where it is on the gov.Uk site, can anyone help direct me to where it is?

Maryann1975 · 30/12/2020 17:23

This is why people have little confidence in government. The list should have been published at the same time the announcement was made. It’s been the same all the way through, starting with the key worker lists right at the beginning of all of this.

UselessTrees · 30/12/2020 17:23

I saw that . I just understand it, the hospital is in crisis there.
PoopySalata · 30/12/2020 17:29

I'm in Redbridge and we're not on that list. I'm betting that it isn't the complete list and they'll 'amend' it shortly...

All the boroughs around us with lower cases are on the list Confused

SquirmOfEels · 30/12/2020 17:31

Ok - I think this all means that if your school is in a borough on the activated contingency plan list, then your secondary age DC is remote learning indefinitely. Unless they are years 11 or 13 (or another year group sitting public exams this summer), socially vulnerable, or from a key worker family.

Is that right?
