Candiscophonous · 30/12/2020 16:43

Sky news live on tv

MeringueCloud · 30/12/2020 16:44

@LdnMum94

Where are people watching all of this?

I'm watching sky news live via YouTube and it's just Matt Hancock waffling on after brexit. I haven't heard anything about schools or nurseries?

Where can I watch boris?

Parliamentary TV website

I can not understand why the list of special Tier 4 areas where primary schools will close is not already published.

I live in a hotspot with the highest rate in the country so I presume DSs primary will be closed. I’m SLT in a neighbouring London borough with v. high cases also and we will need info as soon as possible. Organising key worker and vulnerable provision with a rota for staff whilst delivering online learning needs as much time as we can get before next week.

2bedammed · 30/12/2020 16:52

Yes user it is appalling.

I want to know!

Appalling statement.

Candiscophonous · 30/12/2020 16:54

So nothing about the new strain and children then.
Dreadful.

Ignored. His so useless isn't he? Not even a list out of who is shut or open yet!
CurlyhairedAssassin · 30/12/2020 16:56

Where are all these testing kits for every single secondary age child and school staff member going to come from all of a sudden? Has Father Christmas been paying the elves overtime?

Candiscophonous · 30/12/2020 16:56

He’s useless. I would have also liked him offer clarification on the question Kate Green posed, re support for parents , particularly mothers that have to stay home to supervise children.

No idea. I'm sure that they will show up, but it wasn't made clear when or who will do the testing etc.
LdnMum94 · 30/12/2020 16:58

Watching BBC news now, no Boris yet.

Candiscophonous · 30/12/2020 16:58

He clearly has no clue what’s happening in real schools. I wonder if he’s even been in any schools lately. It all seems so idealistic and uninformed.

ineedaholidaynow · 30/12/2020 17:03

Boris is here

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 30/12/2020 17:03

Bloody hell he’s only 3 minutes late

2bedammed · 30/12/2020 17:03

When someone finds the list please shout Sad

CurlyhairedAssassin · 30/12/2020 17:03

It's already been decided who will the testing. Muggins here (secondary school support staff) plus colleagues will be managing all the little darlings who will self-administer tests with as good grace as they did for the military a few weeks back.

Dogatetheleftovers · 30/12/2020 17:03

Is Bojo on his own?

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 30/12/2020 17:04

What has he done to his hair this time?

The hairdresser is shut so maybe Carrie got fed up?

Our schools have asked for volunteers from parents/carers and have been overwhelmed with positive responses so you might be ok to carry on with your important job mugging
