I agree with @AnyFucker

@MercyBooth

I dont deny it exists but i agree with *@AnyFucker and @Rudolphian* I think they overstated it to try and scare people into compliance. And its backfired in the most spectacular way. Metro had a big headline MUTANT COVID. Boris and Chums have now also finally learned that using the MSM to scare ppl has completely recoiled right into their faces.
Yeah I am starting to lean this way too

Bet Boris has such a headache right now, and may be seeking out fridges for the coming weeks.

And honestly wouldn't be surprised to hear that he and his cabinet will be isolating as been a contact of someone who is now positive for the new strain..from tomorrow

Yep

There are already Covid19 mutations in mainland Europe, so this seems quite an odd thing to do, unless they are also closing land borders in Europe. I can't help wondering if this is a tactic being used by certain EU countries to make life awkward for the UK in the approach to Brexit - a sort of "Well, this is a taste of how things will be, if you don't sign up to our trading terms." It wouldn't surprise me if they suddenly lift the ban when/if a deal is agreed, especially as the French ski industry will lose a lot of profit if they ban UK tourists during this winter.

Please read the new strain thread to understand exactly why this particular mutation is getting the scientists worried. Please do read that before coming up with a load of conspiracies.

Useful science thread on it.

Brexit Came Early.

Honestly, that's my true assessment of the whole situation.

No Dealers must be delighted.
