I need this to be approved. It feels like it has been a long time coming.

I can’t put up with much more of all this awfulness.

Apparently MHRA received more data yesterday and we are hoping for a decision on the 28th.

Florelei · 26/12/2020 15:59

Fingers crossed for the 28th.

I've heard 28th too. With the last vaccine, it took about a week to get it rolling out after approval didn't it?
My guess is Oxford vaccine will begin rolling out somewhere in the first week of Jan. (This is if it gets approved, which I'm assuming it will with all the hints!)

Crakeandoryx · 26/12/2020 16:28

Is Oxford vaccine not ready to go?! Like book your appointments now?. I know we're doing a drive in appointment that was trialed for flu vaccine and it work so well. I'm hopeful it's announced before new year. It would be great to have this and Brexit arranged before Jan 2021.

Crakeandoryx · 26/12/2020 16:29

Once approved I mean.

And no taking other aliments when you get your appointment!,

I know the GP’s receptionist at our local surgery and she says about 15% of people come expecting to be able to take about their aching leg etc

It's been approved! Amazing, amazing news. I've had the Pfizer vaccine as I'm frontline NHS but I'll breathe a sigh of relief when my elderly DM and in laws get the Oxford vaccine.
