What 'big' things have you missed out on because of Covid?

*Mam and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary party
*DPs 50th birthday mini break

Seeing my mum, she’s in a care home.

Two friends weddings, daughter birthday weekend to chessington, touring Europe for three weeks and husbands birthday

Ds's graduation. But more for him all the end of university celebrations.

Dh several half hours of dialysis as the knocked off half an hour of his thrice weekly sessions during the height of lockdown do deep clean between patients.

Helping my 85 year old dad from being distressed in hospital after his heart attack with no visitors even though he was transferred to hospital 10 minutes away from me.

My dd's smear test.

Sex.
My dp and I live apart & within another household (we are both single).
Luckily he's moving out to his own place this week!

My Husbands funeral as my son had Covid

The main one was watching dc compete for their country for the first time - event was cancelled.

2 holidays.

Ditto all school things everyone else has mentioned.

A posh awards ceremony that a friend got us tickets for.

None of them awful. I hadn't actually planned a lot to be honest. I was lucky enough to go on a holiday abroad with friends a month before lockdown. I would have been sad if I had missed that.

Was made redundant in October
Currently have COVID and have a job interview on Thursday which is now being done via Zoom. 🤞so thankfully haven’t missed out on that.

I’m thankful that my redundancy was the worst thing. In the grand scheme of things it’ll be ok.
