I still feel there will be at least another six months before things are normal

Nothing is ever as Boris Johnson makes out...it just isn't.

@Toppered

I reckon we have hit halfway, shortly to go backwards after Christmas due to 'gatherings'

I bet the older generation are laughing, we can't even sit on a sofa in the warm and not meet people, we have to 'have bubbles' else we winge while they had to send their children to be evacuated whilst they went to war, It makes me sick.

Sorry Angry

*not aimed at anyone on here btw.

Um

You’d need to be about 100 to be of an age where your children were evacuated, right?

Most of the 80+ I know just want their freedom back, to see friends and family. They are battling loneliness and boredom. They’ve not made any snide comments about war.

Though if my father were still alive, he’d certainly have comments to make, because he worked fir the NHS and the fact that staff are - on MN anyway if they are real - shocked to be dealing with infectious disease - cor blimey, he’d have a lot to say about that.
