Could this be COVID? Did your child have these symptoms?

My DS got a rash around a week and a half ago. Spread all over his trunk it's everywhere. It was red at first and like of sandpapery and now has faded into circular blobs and looks flaky. No pain and only slightly itchy.

Last night he had a headache and today is feeling really nauseous.

Any ideas what it could be? Is it COVID? Should I call Dr?

His throat has a few little blood spot marks at the back of his throat that weren't there yesterday. Throat still not sore.

Rash still going strong all over torso.

Temperature 38 - 38.5 without Calpol.

Eyes red and he says sore when he looks up.

Head sore when he gets up at times.

Tired but alert, watching tv, talking etc.

Eating and drinking fine.

The home COVID test turned up at 5. Last post 5. Argh.

I'm scared to get him taken in to a COVID section to be seen in case it's not COVID (a GP on 111 said it could be scarlet fever but not classic) and he gets COVID on top of whatever this is.

But then I'm scared not to get him seen.

Why can't there be a rapid test.

I'm scared to let him go to sleep.

Trying to keep a brave face but keep crying away from him. I'm so scared for him.

Please if anyone is about. If you are medical, please give me your opinion. Or just a handhold.
