Not been back all term and wont be sending back for a while yet

BexR · 09/10/2020 19:00

No. Grasping every bit of school time while we can.

girlicorne · 09/10/2020 19:01

No, although we have had an email tonight to fill in a form about what devices and internet access we have for remote learning so school may make that choice for us.

RonaLisa · 09/10/2020 19:02

Not bloody likely.

SpringSunshineandTulips · 09/10/2020 19:04

Nope. Mine are in school while they are able to be. I’m sure we’ll be closing or isolating at some point and who knows how long that’ll be for. They get every bit of school available to them at the moment.

Marcellemouse · 09/10/2020 19:06

Why would you?

happytoday73 · 09/10/2020 19:09

No absolutely not. I'm proactively trying to keep my children in school.. Happy and learning.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 09/10/2020 19:10

God no. DS is much happier since going back to school, plus I need to work (can't work from home).

planplan · 09/10/2020 19:10

No way. What would be the point exactly ?

toptreeroots1 · 09/10/2020 19:11

Nope
What is the point ?

Waspnest · 09/10/2020 19:13

Nope
What is the point ?

Exactly. Just why would you?

TheGreatWave · 09/10/2020 19:20

No. They are happy, and they are thriving. The questions about home tech are standard, there is always the chance of school closures of some degree so at least this way they can be a little more prepared than in March.

coffeeandbiscuittime · 09/10/2020 19:23

Nope had to have a few days off waiting for a test ( neg as I thought it would be), kids were so stressed out thinking about how much they were missing - yrs 12 and 10. We will be keeping them in school as long as we can.

Jrobhatch29 · 09/10/2020 19:26

Definitely not. Clutching at every second of school we can. They are loving it and so much happier.

AdelaideK · 09/10/2020 19:28

No way.

LadyCatStark · 09/10/2020 19:28

No chance, DS is making the most of every moment he can get!

borageforager · 09/10/2020 19:28

Last week of what? Have I missed something?!

Kljnmw3459 · 09/10/2020 19:29

No, keep them at school as long as possible.

Triangularbubble · 09/10/2020 19:29

No. They’ll be in school every day possible.

silverbubbles · 09/10/2020 19:29

No. Why would you consider this?

TableFlowerss · 09/10/2020 19:30

Absolutely not.

TweeterandtheMonkeyman · 09/10/2020 19:31

One of mine IS off due to a positive case in his year - but absolutely no way would I take either of them out voluntarily!!

SoUtterlyGroundDown · 09/10/2020 19:31

Absolutely not, what purpose would that serve?
We’ve managed 8 weeks of school with no cases, no popped bubbles. As long as schools are open, my children will be there.

Pangwin · 09/10/2020 19:31

No. I want my dd to be in school as much as possible this school year. Our town and surrounding villages have largely been unaffected by Covid with only the odd case here and there. For the last couple of months we've had between 0-3 cases each week. This week the numbers have shot up to over 30, so if we continue in that vein I can envisage schools/bubbles/classes closing within the next month. I want her to get every ounce of school before this happens.

Lockdownseperation · 09/10/2020 19:31

Why? I honestly can’t see a reason why they would be fine at school next week but not the week after.
