How many cases per 100,000 in your area?

I have become slightly obsessed about checking the figures in my area each day. We have 7 per 100,000 which I think is pretty low. What are the numbers where you live?

6 here and less than 50 deaths, sorry to see such high numbers elsewhere.

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 27/09/2020 18:54

139 cases in my town which has a population of approx 300,000. 9 days ago (last time I looked) it was 28.

  1. I'm in Hampshire
Cattermole · 27/09/2020 19:02

Cornwall and we've gone up to 28 per 100K in a week - which is down to two specific clusters which account for over half of the increase.
(HMS Raleigh and Pilgrim's Pride meat processing plant - both out in the public domain, as the info came from the West Brit)

Not desperately worried about that, then.

  1. North Norfolk. I'm intrigued by the 0 person, too! Vast majoirty, 70% of population are not in local restrictions zone.

@pjmask

Oh I'm bit confused then as the App says there were no areas that reported zero cases

@MJMG2015 my mum who has been following it closely just said that we have been 0 for two days, we were 1 when she checked Friday and 2 when she checked Thursday so I guess those ones have dropped off the radar now.

Again, interesting. As I've been tracking it and the Covid Messenger App has been showing '0' regions reporting zero cases for a while now.

Anyway, I'm pleased it's low where you are 👍🏻

  1. Which I’m sure is less than Leicester had when it was the first place to have a local lockdown. But now 36 seems low compared to a lot of places.

34, in local lockdown from tomorrow Sad

So how come where I live is higher than you and we have not even a whisper of a lockdown? There’s no consistency!
JaceLancs · 27/09/2020 19:12

58 and we are in local lockdown
