Really worried that I might have it

Home tests were sent off yesterday. Now waiting for the results.
I’m so anxious.
I’m overweight, so I know my risk for complications is much higher (I’m a dress size 20-22).
I’m also a female and 31 years old, so I’m hoping that goes in my favour.
My blood group is A+ and I heard As we’re more impacted.

Can anyone reassure me?

Symptoms have been:
Sneezing
Very bunged up, barely able to breathe out of my nose
A very sore throat
A cough that developed a day or so after first symptoms
A low grade temperature (37.8-38)
Chills
Body aches.

My toddler had it first and it was continually sneezing for him, followed by lots of snot and being very whingey and tired.

Sorry, I name changed by accident.

My temp is 36.5
My oxygen is between 97 and 99%

That's not a high temp though?

I had all which you described and tested negative, I've written mine of as an aggravated cold, made worse by sinus trouble.

Hope you're ok and try not to worry too much.

@MrsVeryTired I know, but it was 38 a couple of days ago when we sent off for postal tests.

@MrsVeryTired did you have a cough?

Hi, yes I had a cough for a couple of days, also had chills and shakes, was quite sure it was covid but negative test and felt better quite quickly so think test was probably accurate.

It sounds to me like a cold and if it is covid, you may have gotten off lightly with mild symptoms. Most people do. Try not to panic and do sleep on your side or front, not your back. Good luck.

It does sound like a cold. And we are moving into cold and flu season.
I can just see Mumsnet flooded by lists like this and I imagine the majority will be colds...

I have had diarrhea for two weeks now, on and off. No other symptoms other than a slight recurring headache. Could this be cv19?

If it is cv19, will a test pick it up if it's just in my digestive tract?

I don't feel particularly sick in the stomach, and I can control it. But it is pretty much diarrhea. Haven't taken anything as I'm at home and believe you should let these things pass through.

Just sounds like a cold op. I really wouldn't be that concerned and youve taken a test anyway so not sure of the point of the thread

Intrigued to know the result to see if those that said it was a cold are right.
