A local school to me, a child has tested positive after two days back which means the whole class has to quarantine for two weeks.

But a local restaurant a member of staff tested positive and the staff were tested the next day and all negative so reopened straight away.

How does that work?

@stovetopespresso I saw a figure of 10 tests per school. Pretty poor in my youngest's school of 400. Abysmal in my oldest's school of 2000.

it seems that they are using schools as their test and trace system.
@ineedaholidaynow it does look that way
@TheSunIsStillShining that's shocking. schools have a few testing kits apparently (clutching at straws here to find rational policy approach)
I was trying to come up with a way that would be safe for my son to go back on Friday, but short of all day hazmat suit wearing couldn't find a reasonable way. +there is this whole testing thing. We'll skip these few weeks of school and they'll be online again by end of the month anyway....
