Where did people actually catch COVID-19?

I have tried to google and have been trying to find some statistical data.
Either I am asking the wrong question, or just being a bit dense with the search terms.
I wonder if anyone could suggest a resource with factual statistics concerning how most coronavirus was contracted.?

I am particularly interested in how many cases were contracted at supermarkets / walking dogs / handling mail etc. In other words, normal everyday tasks.

BTW, I am NOT a journalist, I am just interested to discover how it has ACTUALLY been transferred to help me with some (Mostly friendly) arguments and with my (mostly mild) health anxiety

Thank you to anyone who can shove me in the right direction

Yes, it’s all the twiddly bits - no hearses, wake (or even afternoon tea) afterwards etc etc.

Fil’s funeral cost all in £10k !!!! (Had to keep my trap shut but I was weeping at the extravagance... he wasn’t even a nice person and didn’t leave any money to pay for it Angry )

Well how could we ever know, but I caught it from my DH.

He might have caught it from one of his customers (he's a hairdresser), or Cheltenham Races (i told him not to go!), or the kids could have bought it home from school, or any of the shops/playgrounds/restaurants we went into in March. How will we ever know?

I've not had it but people I know who have, caught it

  • In a Care home (she died)
  • At work quite recently
  • Talking to their consultant supervisor at hospital (this was a junior doctor - Neither were wearing masks or socially distancing) D'oh!
