And now not very happy with my decision. We went into M&S all three in my family were masked and so were the shoppers in simply food. However the place was heaving and no social distancing was in place. I was there for about 10-12 mind , came home and washed hands/and the bits I picked up. Now I cannot shake the feeling that I might have picked something up...

Statistically you have more chance of being in a car accident on the way to or from the shop than you have of catching the virus. Even then, most people have about a 2-4% chance of dying if they do catch it. The fear and scaremongering we have been surrounded by over the past 4 months has really hit many people hard. Risk has been completely warped. We all need to push ourselves a little bit to take those steps back to some sort of normality. We cant stay in our sitting rooms forever.

You might need a supplement too I have one and took me from having a deficiency to normal. GP can test you or get one online.

You might find small local shops easier one in one out kind of thing.

Wow ... yes immediately bleach yourself and fog the house, you're all contaminated. Never ever go out again, ever ... and you will be fine. Don't put yourself through this anxiety.

Well if you halfway throughthe check out when your husband went out of the shop you were nearly done right so what was wrong with him leaving??

Does it help to know that I have been shopping in different supermarkets since lockdown and haven't caught it? Or at least no symptoms. Inner London and all stores fairly busy.

What level of anxiety did you suffer from before Covid? What helped you in the past?

Yes, I got my GP to do it (prior to covid) as was low in the past. But you can order a test delivered to you which is a finger prick one, for example with Thriva thriva.co/tests/vitamin-d-blood-test

there is usually a discount for first test with them and you can then cancel (they like people to do ongoing ones) I will see if I can find one

You need quite high levels to supplement - for example 1000 IU here are the one I used to improve my levels- it has vitamin K as well which has also been linked to being helpful with covid, and is good to take with vitamin D...it is a fruity mouth spray.

You dont need online testing before taking a supplement of vitamin D.

Recommended amount is 10ug per day which is 400IU
Maximum recommended per day is 100ug which is 4000IU

I take 25ug which is 1000IU
Dc's take a spray which is 10ug

If you are deficient in vitamin D then you could take more than 10ug which is the standard amount recommended. I take 25ug and got mine from amazon
