AFAIK it is one of the conditions of them being able to open that they wear a mask/visor, customers in masks, as they cannot do hairdressing and maintain social distancing.
Saw a hairdresser on the news, cutting someones hair. Hairdresser in visor and customer in mask.
It struck me that the visor, from the customers point of view, is not particularly effective from a safety point of view.
It would be, if hairdresser and customer at same height, but given that customer is seated below hairdresser, surely any droplets etc from hairdresser, will be "funnelled " downwards towards the customer?
