2nd wave prepping

Not saying there will be a 2nd wave
But lessons learnt, the shops only ran out of certain goods due to panic buying. There was food in the shops, we had utilities etc.
But will people go daft again as warned that autumn may lead to a 2nd wave then only a theory .
So question, will people start stockpiles again?
I get that the media had a lot to do with it scaremongering.

@Deelish75

The only thing I'm concerned about are milk, eggs and fresh fruit and salad (got frozen veg).
I buy six packs of long-life milk as well as the 2L bottles of filtered fresh milk which last longer than the standard fresh milk. Eggs I got used to buying double the quantity I normally bought and put them in the fridge but I read an article recently that you could freeze eggs (out of their shell) in special plastic/silicone containers available online so I'm looking into that. Keep your online slots going and also sign up to a regular fruit/veg delivery from your local greengrocers and just did a bank transfer to pay them after delivery (I'm a regular in-person customer anyway but set up the delivery during the height of Covid. I buy for my mother as well (different locations) so have two different supermarket accounts so she gets the products she's used to purchasing. She's getting quite frail now and unsteady on her feet so I'll be pre-buying for her ahead of the winter and I've bought her extra storage as well.

What about yoghurts? I’ve heard you can freeze them but never tried it.
I'd be interested in this one. The last time I froze yoghurt (not low fat) it separated and looked like sick when I stirred it through my porridge.

Yes cheese does go crumbly stored in the freezer but I don't mind that. Maybe try grating it and freezing it in portions but I've not tried that myself. You could just leave it it the fridge as it's got a relatively long life anyway.
