I don't exactly blame their government (they didn't intend this), but it was predicted.
From the very start the experts have said the ideal would be no contact with anyone. Of course that wasn't possible in the real world so every government decided where to draw the line between safety and keeping the country going.
Some were stricter than the UK and some less. We all made our decisions and then kept our fingers crossed that it was enough. I now wish we'd been stricter earlier, but there was no way to know at the time.
A lot of people posted on here to say we were taking it too seriously and some even had protests where they mingled together to prove there was no danger. Good thing we didn't listen to them.
