I know he is, rightfully, recovering but just thinking a video message would help cheer us all along and keep people on track with the Govt message?

I think we've all suffered enough frankly HmmGrin

JustAboutHoldingItIn · 23/04/2020 13:27

Cheer us up?!

beguilingeyes · 23/04/2020 13:27

If they ever manage to work out what the Government message is, I'd be happy to hear it.

I've no desire to see Boris., now or ever. Chocolate teapot.

everythingisginandroses · 23/04/2020 13:28

No. Wish him no ill, pretty sure I've had Covid-19 myself and it's been unpleasant. But no.

Devlesko · 23/04/2020 13:28

Good God, no. As if things aren't bad enough, I'd prefer to never see his mug again. Horrible man, terrible leader, lacks any morals.

ilovesooty · 23/04/2020 13:28

No. It's a relief not to see Johnson. I'd be happy never to see him again.

MordredsOrrery · 23/04/2020 13:29

Isn't life bad enough already?! Shock

Devlesko · 23/04/2020 13:29

OP, is a conservative Grin Oh, dear!

kimlo · 23/04/2020 13:30

but he did one. I'm not a fan so I don't really care about seeing him but give him a break, he's just been in icu.

Iwalkinmyclothing · 23/04/2020 13:31

I'm glad he has recovered, as I am glad of anyone recovering.

I would be perfectly happy never to see or hear from the man again and his having had and survived a serious illness changes nothing about my opinion of him and the damage he has done and intends to do to this country.

NotStayingIn · 23/04/2020 13:34

Unless he’s dangling from a zip wire waving flags again seeing him will not cheer me up in the slightest Grin

katseyes7 · 23/04/2020 13:36

No.

MarathonMo · 23/04/2020 13:36

Lol @NoStayingIn

@NotStayingIn Grin

HappyHammy · 23/04/2020 13:40

Like you say he is recovering. Maybe best to let him relax and recuperate in private like every other patient.

Sosadandempty · 23/04/2020 13:44

Definitely not.

The government implementing a huge testing, contact tracing and local quarantining programme, as well as as adequately protecting its frontline workers, being honest about the number of people who have died at home as well as in care homes from the virus and the reasons why, and not letting people fall through the welfare cracks, would however make me feel more at ease.

Sosadandempty · 23/04/2020 13:46

Boris is in part responsible for our delay in responding to the virus and I think he should resign. He won’t though.

Piccalino3 · 23/04/2020 13:47

Thanks OP, this thread has given me a laugh 😂

meditereb · 23/04/2020 13:47

No seeing borris will not cheer me up !!

pussycatinboots · 23/04/2020 13:48

You need to ask??
Are people not suffering enough?

CrunchyCarrot · 23/04/2020 13:48

Cheer us up? Hell no to that, LOL! His bluster isn't going to help matters.

1forAll74 · 23/04/2020 13:57

Boris has been in the dark, so he may have seen the light now,and have a new and better attitude to all things.

user1495884620 · 23/04/2020 13:59

I see him every time I wash my hands. I sing the zoo version of happy birthday whilst picturing Boris as the fat monkey whilst I wash.

BoingBoingyBoing · 23/04/2020 14:01

Given the choice between him and Dom Raab..? Christ.

Thisismytimetoshine · 23/04/2020 14:01
  1. He's ill.
  2. Why would seeing him improve anybody's day? I can certainly live without the experience.
